With all respect to everyone who plays this crazy game we love and hate, a lot of us are always seeking band aide fixes to our game. As I was playing with my teaching pro Wednesday he and I were discussing this most common issue with a number of golfers. Instead of contacting a pro, who is trained to take a look at our stance, grip and swing and analyze our problems very quickly for a nominal fee and recommend the correct solution, we seek out answers from our non qualified friends or on sites such as face book or even Team Titleist, for quick fixes or band aides. Like most of us we all have good intentions and an opinion on how to correct a problem, right or wrong. I personally try not to get involved with giving any advice on correcting golf issues, even though I know what my pro did to help me. I tell my friends to go see my pro. I think it is great that we share information on this site but when it comes time to helping someone with a golf swing problem it is always best to refer them to a PGA teaching pro. It's like wrecking your car and calling your friend on the phone and asking them how much to fix it without seeing it and they have no experience in auto repair. Again, with respect to all opinions. Support you local pros they can make you golfing experience more FUN.
