I'm literally ambidextrous, right down the middle, throw lefty, golf righty, ski right sided (that probably doesn't make sense to most), played hockey righty, throw a fork left handed. When I took up golf in the 70's, I got my dad's hand me down MacGregor/Wilson irons. There were very few lefty sets around, even at the club scene we were in around New York.

I'm the same! I'm a lefty when it comes to writing, baseball, and shooting a basketball (stronger dribbling RH though). I learned golf on my brother in law's RH clubs and haven't really looked back. Early on I picked up a few single LH clubs to try at the range, but stuck with playing golf RH.

I grew up 2 blocks from NBCC, Dartmouth, MA and started shagging golf balls for $.50 and if I carried a bag I would make $2.50 in

the 60's. I am Left handed and my Dad taught me to be a switch hitter in baseball. My neighbor gave me a set of right handed wooden

shaft golf clubs and been playing right handed ever since. My next set was ParWins that I bought from the A&P grocery store for $5.00 a

club with my caddy money. I would sneak on the course at night hitting the golf balls I found, run back into the woods so I would not get

caught by the course superintendent, then run back onto the course to hit the ball again till it went into the hole.

Those were the good old days.

I am a natural lefty but through the course of growing up i did some things RH. I bat L but throw R. I write L, shoot a bbal R but prefer to dribble with my L LOL its pretty wild. I did end up learning golf LH though!

When I was in my 40’s and starting, I could have gone LH or RH. Because I wrote LH, I choose LH. Years later read about the dominant arm. Too late. I can still swing a club faster RH than LH. Sadly, the other requirement to golf is making contact with the ball. Hit or miss is the best way to describe my RH swings.

Jordan Spieth is a lefty that plays right handed. Phil Mickelson is the opposite. Lots to be said of having your dominant side be the leading side.

I am left handed but play golf right handed.

I learned with my dad's clubs and he was right handed.

Tha same here. However, I cannot hit a golf ball at all left handed. Plus, the book, "%The Physics of Golf" advocates your dominate arm be your forward arm. I'm good with that idea as it seems my best swings come when the left hand dominates the grip and does the "hanging on"..

Growing up playing hockey - shot left handed, playing baseball - bat left handed. Golf - my Dad gave my brother and I his old clubs which were right handed. I got the evens and my brother got the odds. I just had to figure it out or not play. Still most comfortable hitting 4,6 and 8 irons.

I am the opposite, I am RH but play golf LH. I played baseball righty growing up, but batted lefty. Weird, I know.
