I started golfing when I was 17 years old. At age 62 I was still hopeful to get a hole in one but I was beginning to think that it would never happen. I was in a foursome with my team league buddies when it happened which made the moment even better. I had seen two of the three get hole in ones over the years. The hole was number 8 at Wild Marsh Golf Club in Buffalo, MN. It was playing 140 yards so I hit a 9 iron. My shot landed about 10 feet from the pin and rolled slowing directly into the hole. It took all most a lifetime but the thrill was fantastic and the memory will last forever.
