My hole in one was on April 29th, not April 28th... And it was my 2nd one ever.

Garnet course at Cobblestone is MUCH steeper and more hilly than either the Greenbrier or the Homestead.

The Garnet Course 4th hole reads 108 on the scorecard, but plays MUCH longer due to the steep elevation to the green. I hit a line-drive that hopped up the slope and hit the crest and bolted out of sight.

I thought for sure I'd hit it over the green - searching beyond yielded nothing, so I shrugged my shoulders and looked in the hole.

There sat my Titleist yellow TruFeel #3, resting comfortably in the back of the cup.

First ever

I was playing in league on Tuesday night. I was playing the front side and a few of my buddies were in league playing the back. On the first hole my one buddy sends me a picture of him getting a hole in one. Fast forward to my last hole of the night. #5 at Carroll Meadows. Rees were up, so it was 131 yards. I grabbed my 52 degree which is my 125 yard club. We were talking about my buddy hitting the home in one earlier. I took aim and hit the ball clean. My playing partner said I knew that wasn’t going in because my ball started to draw. And then it stopped. Took one bounce and then it disappeared. The pin was in the middle so when I looked in my range finder, I knew it had to be in. The odds that 2 good buddies getting a hole in one on the same night is awesome. I played the lottery, but didn’t win lol. I’m the one on the right.

I was playing in a team tournament at Winchester Country Club in Meadow View, CA. It was the #2 hole playing 135 yards. I hit my wedge above the hole, I saw the ball spin back and then lost sight of it. As we walked to the green, I said, it either spun into the bunker or it’s in the hole and IT WAS IN THE HOLE for my first hole in one. Not to mention it was also a closest to the pin hole! So I won some money as well.

Playing in a club tournament. 174 yards to the par-3 hole. Wind from left and behind. A 5 iron shot a high fade into the wind. The ProV1 flew a perfect curve from left to right. Landed a few yards from the hole bounced twice with a right turn, rollled into the cup! Great feeling

I wanted to share the story behind a hole-in-one I made today, April 30th, 2026. I happened to be using a Titleist Pro V1 - one I won't use ever again. My buddy Alex and I were out playing a round at Westwood Golf Course in Omaha, Nebraska, a 9-hole par 3 course. We played pretty well through the first 9 and, started to really heat up at the end of the round. Alex said he wished that we could play another 9 holes because of how we started to play, and I said that there was no harm in asking. Luckily, the pro shop told us there was a tee time in about five minutes that we could jump on. I had a few reservations about taking the time, but ultimately decided I would love nothing more than to play some more golf (who wouldn't). You may be wondering, why have reservations about playing more golf? Isn't that all a golfer could ask for? Well, it actually turns out that today is my 5 year anniversary with my girlfriend, and I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to make it back in time for our dinner. It turns out that decision to golf was one of the best decisions I could have ever made in my life. On the second round, we got to hole 4 - a 135 yard hole slightly downhill. I decided to use my 7 iron, and hit it on an absolute rope. We tracked it through the air and it looked really good, we watched it bounce once, and then the ball was gone. "Did you just make that" Alex asked as I quickly turned to him in awe. I didn't believe it. No way did it just happen like that. We ran to the cart as I pulled out my phone to start recording. As we got closer and closer to the green, it became more clear to me. The ball wasn't on the green. We ran up to the hold immediately after pulling up, and there it was. That beautiful Pro V1 sitting inside the cup. My first Hole-in-one. Funniest part about the whole thing was that I've never even had a solo birdie in my life. I started golfing in April of 2025. It really is funny how with just the amount of skill and luck, something so amazing could happen. Oh yeah, and I also made it to dinner on time to cap it all off. Second Hole-in-One!

I'm a 70 year old male golfer, USGA Index 18.6, who got my first Hole-in-One on 3/16/26, hole 6 on the Commander Course at Lakewood National Golf Club. Due to pin placement on the green, I was not able to watch the ball fall into the hole. I was confident that I hit a good shot and it would be close. Sure enough, the ball was in the hole!

I recorded my second Hole-in One on 4/30/26, hole 4, also on the Commander Course at Lakewood National Golf Club. This time, I hit a nice shot, it landed and tracked into the hole. I was able to watch it. Exciting!

Prior to my first ace, I figured that I would most likely never have a Hole-in-One. Now, within a a month and half, I have two!# 4.

Both Hole-in-Ones were completed with Titleist Pro V1x, #4.

Regrets

So I had my second hole in one this past Monday April 27th. Me and my buddy were playing Goose Creek in Jurupa Valley CA, a lovely public course. It was a practice round for my buddy who was playing in the senior open qualifier the next day. I was last to hit in the group, out of the other 3 only 1 had hit the green. I stepped up with my 7 iron for the 180 yards to the pin. I hit a beauty right at it, I saw it hot the green and light an idiot turned around and 2 seconds later the other 3 in the group are shouting it went in. At first I was thrilled and then the disappointment set in of not seeing it for myself, it made the whole thing anticlimactic. This is my second hole in one and I haven't seen either of them drop in the hole :(. Then just by coincidence the cart girl showed up, so it was drinks for the group, a cheap escape as I wasn't at my home course :).

Hole in one first time in my life

This is Oak Hills Golf Club, located in Columbia, South Carolina. April 19, 2026. A sunny day with the sun peeking through the clouds and a gentle breeze. My first-ever hole-in-one came on the 7th hole, a par-3 at 165 yards. The 7th hole features the most beautiful scenery on this golf course, situated alongside a large lake. I used a 5-iron to cut across the lake, tracing a beautiful curve as I landed the ball on the green. After two or three bounces, the ball rolled forward, and my heart raced as I watched it sink precisely into the hole, just as if I had putted it. I stepped onto the green, lifted the ball from the hole, and let out a cheer. I still can't believe it.

Surreal experience today at my local club on the last hole! Hit my Titleist Vockey SM11 54 degree wedge on a challenging 92 yard uphill Par 3. Spectators told me the ball bounced twice on the green and spun back into the cup!

Playing this round on a rainy day with friends and having spectators at the restaurant balcony made it even better!!

Definitely worth the upgrade to the SM11 wedges this year!

Playing today with 4 good friends at Thunderhawk Golf Course in Beach Park, IL. We were on hole 13 which was playing 189 from the gold tees. I was the last to hit. I was going to hit a five iron but since everyone came up short, I changed clubs last minute to a 4 hybrid. I hit the ball and it look and felt good but thought nothing of making a hole in one. As the ball landed my friends screamed in it in the hole. I did not believe it until we walked up to see it in the hole. It sunk in when I saw it in the hole. I never thought I would ever get a hole in one.

Recently partnered with Titleist on a YouTube series where I first hit a 350 yard drive with the GT2. I was then fitted for my T150's at Woburn for a Break80 series & during my practice rounds today I punched my 8 iron under the wind and tree 115 yards for a hole in one. What an experience! Of course, with a ProV1.

After work one day, I played Top of the Rock with my cousin. I got to hole 7 it was 149 yards to the back and the pin was sort of in the middle. There’s a hill in this green that goes down towards the tee’s I hit the ridge and it rolled down into the cup!!! Super Sureal, I ran from the tee too the hole yelling and celebrating! My cousin isn’t a golfer so he had no idea what was happening but he soon caught on. Super Sureal. I was not as good of a golfer as I am now either so it came as a suprise! And on my way home, my tattoo artists gave me a discount on my upcoming appointment, in all just a great day!

Got my first hole-in-one today. It was an absolute marshmallow off the face of my T250 9 iron, and the Pro V1 spun beautifully right into the hole. Elated, to say the least!

I also had a virtual golf ball consultation with Titleist today that was phenomenal. I’ve played the AVX for the past year but needed more spin into the greens. After reviewing all my numbers, he put me into the Pro V1, and wow, it delivered.

What a day!

It was the first day of golf league. The weather conditions were not favorable. It was rainy with gusty winds. After a rough start on first 3 holes. I teed up on the 13th hole at Grand Ledge Country Club. An uphill par 3 with an elevated green with the pin at 148 yards. Made a nice smooth swing and caught it pure. Ball bounced once at front of green and disappeared from view due to elevation. I knew it should be good but rode up to the green to see no ball where I though it should be. My partner checked the hole and there it was. My first hole in one.
