    Hi everyone -

This week the PGA Tour heads to Charlotte, N.C., for the Wells Fargo Championship. The tournament will be contested at Eagle Point Golf Club, as its usual host Quail Hollow prepares to host the 2017 PGA Championship.

Today, we're looking back at the 2012 Wells Fargo Championship and eventual champion, Pro V1 loyalist Rickie Fowler. Rickie prevailed in a three-way playoff to claim his first PGA Tour victory, after sticking his Titleist golf ball to 4 feet and rolling it in for a birdie.

This past summer, we caught up with Rickie about why he chooses to play Pro V1. Enjoy the video below:

It will be interesting to watch the pros on the different course this year, especially those with a good track record at Quail Hollow. It's also nice to hear why the pros like these balls so much. There's a reason that Titleist is the number one ball in golf.

Actually, the tour is in Wilmington, NC this year, not Charlotte. Eagle's Point is about an hour south of me. Went yesterday and followed Phil, Ernie and Davis Love III. Course looks beautiful. All access tickets tomorrow, hope they get in some golf, as rain is in the forecast.

The course looks absolutely beautiful on TV! Hopefully any logistical kinks are being worked out and another high-level tourney is granted to Eagle Pointe (should they want one).
