  1. Do any of y'all know why tour players do not use the 620 CB? That club seems like it would be perfect for a tour player who doesn't want an MB or a t100. Please give me your thoughts and please tell me if you know of any tour players who play the CB.

I know Robert Streb was playing them last year. I'm sure there are others.

I think the T series offers more forgiveness, being that the T100's are very similar in size!
  4. I have no info, but agree that the CBs are really nice looking irons. AS a matter of fact, the blades, CBs and T100s are all really nice looking, imo.

Who says that none of them do? Ive seen a few in the bags on golfwrx tour photos. I can't name any specific but I've seen them. You are right though, they aren't as popular as one would think.
  6. I would say that there are more forgiving clubs they can play. myself i play a hybrid set of both CB's and MB's.

I still have the AP2s in the bag but last month I went to a fitting at the club and hit the CBs. They feel amazing, I was wondering the same thing. I was swinging really well that day and fell in love. I don't think I could play these irons consistently enough but man they are great.
  8. I play the MB’s but have a CB 3-4 iron. Not 620, but 714 cb (and 620 MB 5-PW). I tried the t100, I also have tried the T-MB for 3-4. Really what it came down to for me was ball flight. I had a much lower ball launch with the CB’s than I did the t100 and it was more consistent. They are a great looking iron, but not as good looking as the 620 CB’s. They were an old set of mine so it could just be me being so used to them as well.

I was fit into CBs. In the fitting process I also hit the T100s. I really like both and both would have worked but the CBs were more consistent in turf interaction and flight for me and my swing. Honestly I don't think you can go wrong with either, but yes the T100 is a fraction more forgiving. The T100 head is also a touch larger with a few more technology pieces added to it.

Golf WRX always does a great job with the PGA WITB.
