  1. Have I seen this correct, is Tiger straying from his branded gear and now wearing FJ Premiers?

He wore them at the Masters as well and has come out and said that they provide more stability for him that he is needing. swoosh currently offers nothing that meets his current needs. I am sure they are working diligently on developing something that meets his new needs and until then he will continue to wear the FootJoy Premiere Series.

He wore them at Augusta as well. He said that he needed more stability and the FJ's provided that. He is working with his gear team on something but just not at a point where he can where them yet.

Maybe he just realized they're a better shoe.
I have a very similar injury to my left leg and I know that it has made my feet very sensitive to good fitting and supportive shoes. Tried several athletic brands thinking they would provide the best support, and swoosh never came close for me. Adidas seems to work best, but if Footjoy works for Tiger then I'm going to try the Footjoys next.

Everyone knows Footjoy shoes are better than Swoosh shoes.

IMO, Footjoy is better than EVERY OTHER golf shoe manufacturer.

They are #1 for many reasons, not the least of which is that they have been manufacturing top quality golf shoes for well over 100 years. No other golf shoe manufacturer can hold a candle to FJ.

Tiger can do whatever he wants to do... I'm sure FJ is licking their chops though and enjoying the exposure, not that it is needed. FootJoys are the best golf shoes out there, I've owned probably 15 pairs over the years, currently rocking the Pro S/L Carbon, two pairs, black and white. Pro S/Ls are the best I've ever worn.
  9. Agreed! I bought the black Pro S/L and liked them so much I bought the white as well as I was afraid they would be discontinued lol.

There are other companies besides FootJoy making golf shoes now.................when did that start?

Completely agree with Jim and Doug about FJ shoes.

Over the years i have tried a couple other brands but i always come back to FJ's.

The FJ Premiers are a very lightweight stable shoe and should meet TW's needs. Yes they have given FJ some additional exposure from his extensive TV exposure. If you will notice, a good majority of pros are sporting the new FJ lines on the tour. I love my Premiere Series; Packard and Field. I have to have something lightweight, stable and a solid foundation. The Traditions are also a great lesser expensive shoe that provide the same experience. Maybe TW will be wearing these for a while? =) =) =) =) =)
