I have a fitting set up on Nov 15 and I am really excited about it. Has anyone else gone? What should I expect?

What putter did you end up with?

I went last December. It was pretty fun and I’m had a great time. It’s a great experience and along with the fitters knowledge and the high speed camera you learn a lot about how efficient your hitting it. There is no pressure to buy anything and it’s very relaxed.

I had my Studio Design 1.5 with me when I went in. I tried several of the new style putters, but I favored my Studio Design over them. At the end of the fitting I asked if I could get a putter made by Scotty that was similar to mine, but heavier (it weights 330 grams) like the new style putters. The fitter said he’d have to check with Scotty. A few weeks later, I was told Scotty had a Circa ‘62 head (340 grams) he could customize for me. After a few back and forth ideas I came up with how I wanted it to look. I couldn’t be happier with what I have now.

That is a great looking clean putter. Nice job not going crazy with stamps and words all over it!

Thanks. I wanted to keep it simple and clean.
  5. I have been fortunate to have gone 3 times since they opened. Each time seeing the high speed video feedback has been incredible and I leave generally putting the best of my life. I have gone through a phase recently where I changed from mallets to a blade (newport) this year. Big change for me since I have used mallets for a couple decades.

You will really enjoy your time there.

Chris, guess watching the video proved the old saying, "more the indian that the arrow"? Still using Newport 2.....looks like my png Pal I used when I first started in 1985....I do have my off days, like most, but generally fair putter for an old ****.

I was able to get fitted at the studio last year. It was a fun and informative experience. I'm sure you will enjoy it immensely.
This is the putter that I switched too after my fitting.

It was not only eye opening but will hopefully change my game. One thing I didn't know was how important the lie angle is relative to your set up and posture. Once I was able to fix the line angle my head stop moving around in my stroke and more putts were holed.

Can't wait to see the final product!

I’d like to have Titleist rep help me with a fitting when he has ALL the equipment around to make every adjustment necessary.

Would like to know when and where I might be able to do this.

  12. Love reading all these stories. Definitely want to get out ther and get fitted too. Sounds like an amazing experience!
  13. I have a Newport 2.0 and I love it. I want to get to custom designed but I don’t want to send it in. I want to go there and check out the hole experience. Maybe some day I will take a trip to California and go.
