Being in the entertainment industry, I've had many passionate "discussions," with friends in various job positions. We're always debating whether what we do is an, "art," or a, "craft."

There are numerous parallels to golf and entertainment.

    My question is this:

In the game of golf, do you consider yourself an, "artist," a "craftsman," "both," - or perhaps some other creative adjective...? Thanks! #TeamTitleist

  2. I would have to consider myself an artist. You know one of those misunderstood artist who no one appreciates untill thier dead. Anyone can see the beauty of certain holes from the middle of the fairway....but from two fairways over...now that takes a true artistic eye. Not to mention the creative energy it takes to find a way back to the green your playing! I learned early on it's not how, it's how many! Only an artist can make par from two fairways over.

When I was younger my Golf Game was more Artistic.
Now being much older my game has become more Craftsman like.

That being said I have to work really hard to fine tune my artistic golf talents.

Also I'm more in tune with Golf Course Architecture and course conditions more now than when I was younger.
I think great ascetic layouts bring out my creative side of golf more as a player these days.

    Cheers,
