Long story short, I played college golf about 15 years ago when I was a +1. Graduated and only played two three times a year for the longest time. Decided to take it more serious this summer and have been playing and practicing more and ended up catching the bug! Went out today and shot 69 (par 72) with a double on a par 5 and with my chip stopping an inch from the hole on 18!

Safe to say I've fallen in love with the game again and I'm glad I can still trust my Titleist to bring back the feeling I once knew! And thanks to the TT family for allowing me to brag on myself while I'm still replaying it in my mind! Might be time to upgrade the 910 D3 now...or maybe not haha!

P.S. the new AVX is a great new addition to the line

That's awesome! Keep up the good work my friend!
  3. Wow the best I've ever gotten was 77 and that was on a par 69. Never broke par and with my game doubt I ever will lol

My driver is awesome at the range, but I barely see fairway on the course.

    Great post cheers.

Congrats on the great round! I've shot 71 several times but have yet to break 70! Working on it though.

I agree with you on the AVX. Switched to it earlier this year and love the characteristics of it. Low driver spin and lower trajectory, but feels great off the putter. Pretty durable as well.

Great round! That is my goal for this next year. Hopefully I'll get my first sub 70 next summer.

Way to go! There's nothing like breaking 70, no matter what tee you play from. Everything comes together - accurate driving, consistent irons, great short game and good putting. Had the great chance to shoot 66 earlier this year and it was a blast. First time I'd broken 70 since 2004 (almost the same as you)!
