How many members of Team Titleist would be interested if Titleist started a Team Tileist Club similar to the Scotty Cameron Club. You would pay an annual fee and get a package of Team Titleist SWAG when you join or renew . Throughout the year Team Titleist could release certain items for sale first come first serve. I think this would solve the problem of I have posted 3 times when do I get my TT bag tag and such like requests.

I am sure it would do well seeing is how many people are in the SC club, though SC does release FAR more merchandise.

I would be all for it.
  4. Yes I think that would be a great idea, I’ve been lucky and have received my Bag Tag and test balls. I would pay to join a TT club like the Cameron club.

I didn't join this forum for the swag, I joined it to have an outlet to make friends and talk about golf. With that being said, I cannot fault anyone who believes that it would be better to pay for swag, rather than just participate and enjoy Team Titleist for what it is, a gathering place for Titleist enthusiasts.
  6. Solid idea

I think swag is nice, but not that necessary for me. I just enjoy the interactions here and don't expect anything from them (except that "likes" are appreciated lol).
  12. That is a good idea and might be a good money maker for Titleist. I'm not in this for gear though I bought Titleist clubs because I feel they are the best for my game. I tried them and couldn't believe the flight and feel.

GMAYNARD: I am addressing your comment; "Throughout the year Team Titleist could release certain items for sale first come first serve. I think this would solve the problem of I have posted 3 times when do I get my TT bag tag and such like requests".

Throughout the year Titleist does release certain TT logoed items for sale and they always send out notifications on this site and they sell out rather quickly. Those who are lucky enough to get these items normally post pictures and thank Titleist for making these available. If you are very active and quick to respond, you will be able to purchase them. I have been a member of TT for many many years and have never had a problem with getting a TT bag tag. I normally attend the TT Inviationals annually and they are normally part of our swag bags. Also by ensuring that my profile is 100% complete I have never been turned down and have always received mine in a reasonable time frame. I do know that due to high demands, and it was published on this site at one point, that those tags were put on back order. There are pros and cons regarding creating a club. I "was" a member of the SC club. The biggest downfall to trying to order the new releases on the putter covers, is the time involved and them showing up on eBay, before they are all purchased during the release period, which is very short. Hope I am making sense. There is a number of items that you can purchase from his shop but you do not have to be a member of his club to purchase the hats, shirts and some others items. I have two of his putters that I game and I want/need something with the SC logo, I just click on his shop and order it. No worries. As a long time member who appreciates what Titleist has provided it's TT loyalists, I am very comfortable with having the opportunity to order the TT releases on this site and awesome products (swag) that is provided in our registration packages at the TT Invitationals and events. Kudos to Titleist and it's marketing department for the current opportunities.....cheers and with respect to all opinions........ no need fixing something that is not broken...

If it involved a Team Titleist putter cover like the driver cover they made I would sign up in a heart beat. Think thats really the only thing i'm missing in my bag right now.

I would sign up every year.

It might work, as long as you guys have sufficient stock to satisfy members that sign up, and more options would help as well, such as accessories, clothing, adjusting clubs for free, etc. Furthermore, if you offer discounts on certain products, might also be appreciated by all members.
I would most definitely sign up and see how it goes.

Yes, but no...I would assume it would end up being run by "bots" and the people who really want to share and show their Acushnet pride by getting similar purchasing opportunities would ultimately end up losing out. It is a great idea, but not sure it would end up accomplishing what I think your intent is.

The fact that REAL Titleist (Acushnet) team members single out folks who contribute to the quality and meaning of what Team Titleist is about and recognize them with goodie bags and surprises from time to time is just AWESOME!!! You know for fact it is real, genuine and a great gesture on Titleist's behalf to recognize and help celebrate your commitment to what is Titleist.

I know everyone would like to get something, especially for free, but it is really about growing a game we love, a bonding experience with others or the surroundings, and playing with a brand that has been trusted since 1932 when a administrative assistant named Helen Robinson decided to present her perfectly written script we all now know as TITLEIST.

I much rather be recognized for contributing to the Team Titleist boards then purchasing a token, albeit there are pretty special....

    Just my $0.02

Great post/topic...Always keeps the blood flowing, and certainly get a chance to see who contributes
    Best,
    -Brian
