!Hola Team Titleist¡ The Trash Pandas are at it again and plan to invade Kiawah island and Myrtle Beach around Cinco de Mayo. I've had the pleasure before, and I deeply anticipate teeing it up at Kiawah again, but I've never played TPC Myrtle, True Blue or Caledonia golf and fish club. They look promising on line, but I'm wondering if anyone here has played these tracks, and more importantly do they have any tips to share with the Pandas before they embark on another adventure? We'll also be on the lookout for watering holes and other worthy establishments, so please let us know if you have any recommendations. Gracias

Great topic Hotsauce. Can not wait for the trip to get here. I have been watching some videos on YouTube trying to get a sense of what we are in for. The only course I have played from our lineup is TPC Myrtle but that was many years ago. I remember enjoying it but also that there were some tough driving holes.

Played TPC Myrtle Beach last summer with a few fine gentlemen of TT/FJC fame, Bob, Chuck, and Gary.

Overall, TPC is a good course, was in decent shape, but a little crowded leading to the dreaded 5 hour round. The staff and facilities were what you expect from a TPC course, great. The other course I recommend in the MB area is Kings North, an Arnold Palmer design. It was in better shape than TPC (same price), had a lot of challenging holes and was very unique.

I played TPC Myrtle...super friendly course staff and beautiful clubhouse. If I remember correctly the rough is high...so hit them straight. Sacrifice distance for accuracy. The greens , especially 18 are fun houses. It's Dustin Johnson's hoome course and they sell t shirts that say it there. Good bar around the area called the chemist...mixed drinks done right. Have a blast!

While at Kiawah, you will not have any problems finding watering holes in downtown Charleston. Reds Icehouse in Mt Pleasant on Shem Creek might be a place of interest. Playing the Ocean Course? TPC at Myrtle Beach is a decent course and they have been making improvements.
  12. Top notch facilities at TPC and like others said friendly staff. Course is pretty straight forward, nothing too tricky. I also recommend Kings North, clubhouse and locker rooms are dated, but the course is great super fast greens when we played. It has some very unique holes
