My son surprised me with a ticket for Saturday. It far exceeded my expectations. It is as immaculate as on tv. We both came up with an anolgy to Disney. I do wonder if some of the bird tweets are piped noise. Although there was some showers the weather was not a factor. We kept moving around the course to try catch as many as players as we could. Tiger blasted his drive a good 20-30 yards beyond the others on 1. Phil pulled driver on the deck on an uphill lie on 8 right in front of us. All I could say to my son was OMG - he has driver. Well, Phil is Phil - got it to 6 feet and an eagle. On 15 Rory put his drive about 15 yards off the fairway. 2nd went directly over our heads to layup and down for a birdie. Then Patrick holed a pitch for an eagle. I could go on. So many shots. Some of the best were the shots from off the fairway. Wish I could have been there today. Jordan is going up 14 just 2 strokes behind as I send this. Did I mention the best part? Egg salad, pimento cheese, water and chips for $6.50.

Wow, sounds like a great day Don. Didn't miss a minute on television. Can't even imagine being there. Thanks for sharing.

I’m fortunate enough to live across the Savannah River in SC. I’ve had the privilege to go to The Masters every years since 1988. The place is just awesome and gets better every year. My favorite memories as a golfer we’re witnessing my dad’s first hole in one in 1980 and taking him through the gates at Augusta National in 1988. I’m glad you got to experience it!
