  1. Hey fellow Team Titleisters! My wife has a meeting in San Diego next week, so I am going to tag along and play a couple of days later in the week. Any recommendations of private courses that I should try and check out? I am hopeful they will offer reciprocity with my home club! Thank you all!

Bunch of options out here. You might check your club first and see which one's offer reciprocal fees. Also would help to know what part of town. Most private courses are either Northeast or Northwest. Bernardo Heights is a nice one here in the Northeast.

Hi Ryan, There are some amazing courses here, but going from northern SD to southern SD can take over an hour at times so you may want to take a look at which courses are closest to where you will be staying.
  4. It's not private, but Torrey Pines South is a must play.

There is a municipal course worth playing. Torrey Pines. As a single, you can usually show up by 8am and be on course by 9. You also avoid the $75 registration fee to schedule a time, and just pay the non-local green fee (South is about double the price of North).
  6. You could try The Grand (Club Corp), Rancho Sante Fe, Rancho Sante Fe Farms, or The Bridges at Rancho Asante Fe all north of San Diego, and all challenging tracks.

Dam I just saw this as I just moved to SD and looking to meet up with people.

If you're out here next time I would love to set up a game

You'll find me most weekends on Eagle Crest Golf Club up in Escondido.
  10. Pechanga Casino's course called Journey is fantastic...it is near Temecula.

It's anything but private, but totally worth getting in line at 5:30 AM to get on Torrey Pines! A great experience all the way around! I've played the South course 3 times, but have heard nothing but positives about the North course as well!!
