Pinehurst Short Game Event in April

    To the 30 signed up. There is a "social" link on the registration site for "event talk". Some of us have been discussing staying over on Thursday night and playing #2 on Friday morning. For some of the folks it will be there first time to Pinehurst so the can't leave without experiencing #2. If you are one of the 30, please go to the event talk and lets us know if you want to be included in the Friday morning round at #2. Thanks.

    Alas, working for an IT company does not ensure I can navigate to the social link to get to event talk. I couldn't find it on the Pinehurst internet site tabs for Planning or for Booking.

    Don, go to the site: www.titleist.com/.../join-us-at-the-team-titleist-short-game-experience-with-bob-vokey

    Click on the site and when you get to the page that show edit and registration go to the top and click on social. Click on social. You will see event talk. Click on that and you see the conversations. Engage.... Hope this helps.

    Just a few more weeks and we'll be having fun in Pinehurst. Can't wait! I can almost taste that Bogangles chicken biscuit. First stop after landing in Charlotte.

    On south side of rt 1, about 8 miles north of Southern Pines is a roadside BBQ shop with only outdoor picnic tables. Never miss it.

    For those who might be sticking around or coming in early, there was an article in Links magazine that came in the mail today. Thought I would pass that information on. I know Titleist has a great two days planned out for us, but on your free time some things to consider. See you guys soon. Had my clubs re-gripped today for the event.

    Hopin' that the Weather Channel changes it's forecast within the next two weeks.....we have a saying here in the Carolina's, "stick around it will change".....they are saying 70* on Wed with 40% chance of rain and 72* on Thurs with 40% chance of rain...so pack those FJ Hydrolite suits and Titleist umbrellas just in case......there is a 50/50% chance the weather will change...... =) lookin' forward to seeing ya'all.....in the pines......

    A week from tomorrow! Hopefully all 30 participants got their email from Abby with the agenda information. Box lunches at noon with the Bob Vokey clinic starting us off. 5 groups of 6 people rotating through wedges, ball fitting, etc. in the afternoon and then The Cradle after that. Pinehurst #4 on Thursday morning followed by lunch. As Chuck said, packing for the potential rain shower but hoping for mostly dry, pleasant weather. See you there!
