Playing Chambers Bay soon

    I’m visiting my best friend in the Seattle area, we decided cause he’s moving across country to play Chambers Bay. Does anyone on here have any advice on how to attack the course to get the most fun out of it?

    Hire a caddie.

    The greens are better since they redid them, but they are still the most challenging part of the course. Stretch your legs beforehand, its hillier than it looks.

    I played it a few years ago when my brother lived in Seattle. Got a twilight time around 2:50 or something and paid $99. Worth every penny and had a great time playing it. Definitely get a caddie, it certainly helped me. And just enjoy the course, it's beautiful, wide open and a lot of fun to play. Hope you have a great time out there!

    If you choose not to hire a caddie, there are rickshaw carts (like Bandon Dunes resort) you can use. As mentioned earlier, it is hilly especially the last couple of holes of the front 9.
