  1. Hi everyone!

I just picked up a new set of the ap2 716 and now I am trying to figure out what wedge setup I should go for. Right now I have sm6 52 and 58. 52 F grind 8 and 58 M grind 8. Is this a good setup? First time I am using titleist wedges. I really like the 52 with F grind but I am a little bit concerned that I might struggle in bunkers and from 30-50 yards with the 58 M grind. Any suggestions?

Yup, see a certified Titleist fitter!

I have 716 AP2s and my wedge setup is:
    SM6 Tour Chrome 50.12 F
    SM6 Tour Steel Gray 54.10 S
    SM6 Tour Jet Black 58.08 M

That setup for me is perfect with regards to distance gaps and how I play.

See a qualified club fitter. My setup is 48/8, 56/12, 60/8 but that's just me. For someone else the setup could be entirely different.
  5. Agreed with the above, really depends what type of courses you play (soft or firm), what type of shots you like to hit (low traps or fliers), your attack angle (steep or shallow). I have a few different combos that I swap out. I have a 50/8 F Grind (bent to 51/9), a 54/8 M Grind, a 56/10 S Grind, and a 60/4 L Grind (bent to 60.5/4.5). Sometimes I drop the 51 and 56 and bring just the 54. I also have a 51 degree ap2 gap that I rotate in for when it's real wet/soft (in place of the 51/9 F Grind). You can honestly drive yourself crazy with the amount of grinds and combos today and it took me forever to get to what I have today (and I still second guess what I put in the bag sometimes). The only thing you can be sure of is that what somebody else plays probably isn't right for your game, but happy hunting! PS, I found out what works for me by borrowing others clubs or demoing and hitting practice shots from many different places and conditions while playing rounds.
  6. I WOULD RECOMMEND CONSULTING A FITTER OR EVEN YOUR LOCAL GOLF GALAXY OR SOMETHING ALONG THOSE LINES

I USE VOKEYS 52,56,60 AND THAT COVERS ME FROM THE FRINGE OF THE GREEN TO ABOUT 105ish OUT

    I LOVE MY WEDGES!!!!!!!

I play a AP1 PW, GW, Vokey SM 6 Chrome 54M & 58M. Both Vokeys work great in all turf and sand conditions. The M grind can be opened up easily.
