I have been playing the same spin milled wedges for I think it would be 15 years now. I tried to narrow down what year they are from by searching on line. I am trying to figure out which grind option is closest to my wedges. I bought a SM7 S grind with the same loft and bounce of my original wedge, but hit it so much higher I don’t like it. If somebody could please give me an answer it would be greatly appreciated. Bryan

BMarvin, the best thing to do is to go get fit (and I'm sure many will probably suggest the same - smile). A Titleist Thursday would be a great opportunity to try different wedge setups. The CG is located differently on the SM7s from your wedges hence the different launch.

Thank you. Didn’t know that about SM7, makes sense though. Have to love technology. I want to get fitted at some point or go to the Thursday events. My only problem is none of the courses in my area hold the event. That’s part of why I posted. Just to get an idea of what would be the closest.
  4. Looking at your pictures it appears that wedges have only a small amount of material taken off of their trailing edges, making them look like full soles. If you look at the SM8 section under the heading of "clubs" you can get to a description of all of the current grinds that are offered. Though I am not an expert my guess would be either the F, S, or K grind, all of which are pretty much a full sole design. Hope this helps.

I think getting fitted will save time searching for the identical flight.

Had same set, definitely most similar to f grind. However as above have said, cog markedly different in sm8’s.
