Team Titleist is in Shanghai this week for the WGC - HSBC Champions at Sheshan International Golf Club. And while a host of PGA Tour members are here competing for FedEx points, many European Tour players are looking to go low and move up in the Race to Dubai rankings.
And with so much at stake, 46 players in the field of 78 will rely on a Titleist Pro V1 or Pro V1x, more than four times the nearest competitor with 11, and more than all other competitors combined.
Titleist is also the top choice this week in iron sets (22), and the sand, lob and approach wedge (64) category.
In the field this week from the European Tour are Titleist Brand Ambassadors Matteo Manassero (BMW Championship winner), Jin Jeong (ISPS HANDA Perth International winner), Gregory Bourdy (ISPS HANDA Wales Open winner), and Peter Uihlein (Madeira Islands Open winner). Along with this contingent of European Tour members, there is a group of Titleist Brand Ambassadors from the PGA Tour, including and not limited to Jordan Spieth, Graham DeLaet, and PGA Championship winner Jason Dufner.
The world-class field will tackle a course that measures 7,140 yards in length as it winds its way along Sheshan's existing canal, around man-made lakes or over the spectacular 50-meter deep quarry, a unique feature of Sheshan. The course also features many new and old trees including thousand year old Gingka trees. Take a look at the photo gallery above to see some of the sights and members of Team Titleist as they prepared for action this week in Shanghai.
Stay tuned for further information, and play well this weekend!
