In this tip, Mark walks us through his keys on how to add this shot to your bag and focuses on how proper alignment, club path and face angle can help you hit a controlled, penetrating shot in the wind.

Having a solid wedge game is critical for any golfer. This is especially true out on the PGA Tour and amplified at all of the major championships.
So we went straight to the source and caught up with Vokey Wedge Tour Rep Aaron Dill (Master Craftsman Bob Vokey’s right-hand man) for an exclusive interview to learn more about the importance of the proper wedge setup, bounce and grind configurations and other short game adjustments that will help pave the way to success for Vokey loyalists at Hoylake.
Overcoming championship nerves and learning to deal with pressure is key to helping all players shoot low scores when it matters most. And whether it is the first tee of a major championship or the final putt of a Saturday morning match with your friends, all golfers feel pressure.
As the world's best players steady their nerves in preparation for The Open Championship this week, we check in with Claude Harmon III, director of instruction at The Butch Harmon Floridian, for a little advice on how we can step up to the first tee with a calm confidence that carries throughout the round.
A couple of Claude's keys to help you play your best... quality preparation and playing with the game you brought to the course.

The week of the Open Championship is always an exciting one for us at Team Titleist. We get to enjoy some great golf and we also get to celebrate the birthday of Master Craftsman Bob Vokey.
Bob has spent the vast majority of his distinguished career working closely with many of the best players in the world, listening to their feedback, taking copious notes and transforming his concepts into some of the most trusted and highest performing wedges on tour.
As “The Voke” likes to say…
"I have always said since the day I arrived at Titleist, that I have the best R&D facility in the world - the PGA TOUR."
So to help us send a very special birthday wish, we caught up with some of the players who trust his creations week in and week out under the most challenging course conditions.
Watch the video above and join us in wishing “The Voke” a very Happy Birthday!
When it comes to getting ready for a major championship and knowing what gear players on the PGA Tour will be looking to dial-in leading up to an event, the Titleist Tour Staff has their collective finger on the pulse.
Armed with our trusty camera and a list of questions, we jumped inside the ropes to catch up with Titleist Tour Representative Jim Curran to get an insider’s take on what equipment changes we should expect to see, what the atmosphere will be like at Hoylake and what player’s should focus on to make sure they are ready for this major test.
