My Second Hole in One

My hole in one was my second. This hole in one was at The Golf Club at Rocky Mount (NC) on Friday, January 4, 2013. I was playing in a five-some with friends who are regular golf buddies. The hole in one came on the 16th hole, which is, in my opinion the most difficult of the par threes on this course. The tee shot is across a large pond and the green has a large sand trap covering the front side of the green. On that day it was somewhat cool and rather breezy. I usually hit an iron, but decided with the weather conditions to hit a "easy" seven wood. (After all I am 68 years old.) After clearing the pond and the front trap, the ball roll to the back pin and rested against the flagstick. From the tee we were not sure just how close to the pin the ball was. However, before the other golfers had hit, my ball fell into the hole. A fellow golfer in our group said, "Your ball just fell into the hole; it disappeared!" I had four witnesses.
