My story beins by playing a round of golf at El Dorado Park golf course in Long Beach California. Every year I try to play the day after the finals of the Long Beach Open, so the conditions are challenging. I am an 8 hcp and was having a fairly good round shooting 39 on the front. But, I boogied #10 and doubled #11. Then my day changed. I came to the 12th tee looking at a par 3 playing 180 yards. It was a blue flag, so I chose a 7 iron. I did not tee the ball up. I hit the seven with a slight fade. The ball landed about 6 -10 feet in front of the pin. I could not believe my eyes when I saw the ball disappear in the hole. I felt like a kid at Christmas. Best feeling I've had in sports since playing baseball in college. I hope all golfers get to experience the feeling I had! Thank you Titleist for providing me with the best ball ever. The DT Solo!
