We are playing in a club tournament and start talking about hole in ones right before we teed off on the 10th hole par 3 because john had gotten the last one in the club 3 years ago. The pot was at $500. I mentioned that the memory would be worth it alone since I had never gotten one and said it must be an amazing feeling to get one. I was the first to tee off and hit a knockdown pw to avoid the wind on the downhill hole. the ball is in the air and someone says "wow, that's going right at it" The ball hits the ground 5 feet short of the pin, skips past it, and backspins disappearing into the hole. I scream "it went in"! in disbelief they say where is it? John says its gotta be in the hole, we don't see it. i win the $500 in the club pot!
