My first hole in one

My husband and I were golfing at Twin Brooks Golf Course, Chesaning, with friends on Friday June 13th. It was a very windy, chilly day in Michigan. As I teed my ball up on the on the 150 yard 15th hole par 3, I didn't like my placement. So I changed it to a foot to the right. As I struck the ball, a half swing with my driver, my thought was that I hoped to roll up on the green because the ball was headed toward the flag. My husband Charlie said "It looks like it is headed to the pin, and my friend Maggie said the same thing. I lost it on the roll. We all looked at one another and thought it might have went in. There was a groundskeeper working in the sand trap and my husband yelled at him if it went in. He raised his hand and went right back to work. We drove the cart to the green and walked up to it. Sure enough, my titleist DT solo #4 was in the cup. I never dreamed I would every have a hole in one so it was great to share that experience with my husband and my friend. I told my husband that it was my father's day gift to him. That he got to watch me hit a hole in one..... The groundskeeper said he had just cut that hole in the position a half and hour earlier. Sometimes it is better to be lucky than good......
