Got in my cart and drove to the clubhouse on a cold winter's day for our weekly Men's Golf Association tournament. The event was cancelled due to the weather, so I was ready to head back home. Talked another MGA member into playing the first 3 holes since they were on the way back to my house. Got to number 3 and hit an 8 iron about 3 feet from the hole, and watched it drop in. We played the rest of the nine in case there was some sort of minimum hole requirement for the ace to be counted. Got back to the clubhouse and only had to buy drinks for the few brave souls that didn't have enough sense to stay home that day.
