Ocala, FL Muni 8th hole

On April 22, 2015 I was playing a practice round for an annual 3-day tournament with my father, brother and a lifelong family friend. The tournament was been played in for years by my father and friend since 1971, they no longer play since they are both in their 80's. However, my brother and I have been playing in the tournament since 1991 continuing the family tradition. Since neither my brother or I had gotten much of a chance to play this year due to work schedules and weather (damn rain) we were not at our best but managed a few decent holes and managed to par several holes in a row prior to arriving at the 8th. I was the first to tee off on the 191 yard par 3 with the pin located in the back right tucked behind a bunker. Using a 5 iron, since there was a slight breeze in my face, I hit a nice crisp shot. "Looks great" and "Get in" were the first shouts from my brother meanwhile I was begging for the ball to get up, hoping to carry the bunker guarding the right side. The ball carried the bunker landing about 10 feet from pin took 1 bounce and then rolled the final 3-4 feet into the cup. When I retrieved the ball, I commented that I was lucky since the pin had not been replaced properly and was leaning to left. This was my 2nd hole in one the first occurred when I was 16 and a junior in high school and now 34 years later and numerous close calls I found the bottom of the cup in one. The fact that the men that had help teach me the game and the passion for the game was an added bonus. It was my pleasure to treat the group for a nice "cold one" at the end of the round.
