Back-to-Back on Consecutive Days

Back-to-Back on Consecutive Days

I'm a 15-year old Sophomore for the Jamestown, ND Blue Jays. This fall, during our practice round for the regional tournament I got my first hole-in-one on a par three that was 97 yards. It was against the wind so I decided to go a club up and hit my 9 iron. The ball was going at the pin the whole time, hit the front edge of the green and rolled in. I was a little bummed about having it happen during a practice round, but it really got me pumped up about the following tournament. The next day we had a pretty good crowd following my group and the leaders in front of us. We came to the tee box of the hole I aced the previous day, however I was just focusing on a par. I didn't know it but the group in front of me stopped to watch my tee shot to see if I'd do it again and so did their gallery. The pin was 103 that day so I decided to hit my 9 iron again. It went right at it like the day before but this time rolled a tad past and the back spin plopped it back in the hole. I'll never forget the roar of the people, or the happy tears of my friends and family. My team ended up winning Regionals by one stroke and it truly was the best day of my life.
