I was golfing with my regular group. I pulled a 7 iron from my bag and hit what felt like the perfect shot. The pin was in a bit of a valley on the green so I didn't realize till i got to the green and didn't see a ball. I looked in the cup and there it was. on the next tee I got a text message from my ex wife saying that she was wishing my late mother a happy birthday. I then realized it was my mom's birthday. Later in the day on Sept 25 2016 I got news of Arnold Palmer's passing. He was my all time favorite golfer and I was a member of Arnie's Army as I followed him around the 1973 US open at Oakmont when i was 13 years old.
