Our group of high school friends traveled from several states to witness the marriage of a dear friend in Champagne Illinois. We waited out a storm and then played a scramble format with some players that were new to the game and some veterans. Hole 7 came and we were even across the board. I hit a 6 iron to the moon and when it came back to earth it disappeared into the cup without a bounce or a roll. Everyone went crazy and I proclaimed free drinks knowing all too well that wedding receptions often times have an open bar!
