I had been playing golf for 51 years, and at one point played at a 6 handicap. Having just joined the club, and also working there part-time, I apologized in advance for my game because I had played only ten times the entire year. After a bird and three pars, one of the guys I was playing with said "well, you might as well hole it out." To his amazement, and everyone else's, I did.
