I by far am not a great golfer. 8/29/2017 was my lucky day. Pulling up to hole 6 Silver at The Georgia Club I say to my husband "I hate this hole!" It's a par 3, I'm about 95 yards away and I always over shoot it or slice it terribly. I walk up to the tee box A-Wedge in hand, tee my ball down really low, take a deep breath and swing. "Ding" The ball looked great, perfect height and distance but never in a million years did I think it would go in, close to the pin maybe, but actually go in, NO WAY. I yell to my husband who is currently standing at his ball near the green. "Did that just go in" His hands fly up in the air as he's running towards me, "you just got an ACE, it's a slam dunk!" My ball hit right in the hole and was wedged between the cup and the pin! It didn't roll or bounce in. It landed straight in the hole! It was AMAZING! Many golfers go their whole life without getting an ACE. I the the girl who plays because her husband loves the game, the girl who is an OK golfer just made a hole-in-one! It was the BEST DAY EVER!
