The Winning Setup: Patrick Cantlay at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open

In 2012, just as he was taking his first steps in his professional career, Titleist Brand Ambassador Patrick Cantlay faced a few serious setbacks that could have completely derailed a promising future. But the former #1 World Amateur fought through injury and adversity and his perseverance was rewarded yesterday with his first PGA Tour win, at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open.

Cantlay fired a 4-under-par 67 in the final round in Las Vegas, matching the 9-under-par 275 lead after regulation play. As blustering winds swept across TPC Summerlin, Cantlay prevailed in the all-Titleist golf ball playoff with a par on the second extra hole.

Congratulations, Patrick! Here's to many more Tour wins to come.

I have been following Patrick since college and am happy he has reached one of his goals.  His intent is to be the best in the world.  His putting is right up there with the best in the game.   As long as he remains a Titleist Brand Ambassador he will accomplish his goal.

Impressive finish for PCs first win.   Glad to see I'm not the only one playing 714 AP2s.
