Vokey SM7 Prototype Wedges Quickly Become #1 On Tour

Vokey Design SM7 Prototype Wedges made their debut earlier this month at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open. The response by Tour players has been overwhelmingly positive and at The RSM Classic, Vokey Design SM7 prototype wedges officially became the #1 wedge on Tour.

"Players tested the SM7 prototypes and mentioned their soft feel, lower launch, and higher spin around the greens,” said Vokey Wedge Representative Aaron Dill.  “All the key things that we strive to achieve in wedge development was validated in the first week. When a player tells you it's easier to hit wedge shots you know you have something special."

At the RSM Classic both SM7 and SM6 surpassed the wedge count of any other competing brand, confirming Vokey Design Wedges as the clear #1 Wedge on Tour.

The seeding process also continued across the pond this past week in Dubai, at the DP World Championship.

Our expert Titleist Fitting Technicians were on site gathering information from Tour players in the first step of the validation process that ensures the #1 Wedge on Tour performs at the highest level.
