Titleist Brand Ambassador Alistair Presnell is making his PGA Tour debut this week on an unlikely stage - the WGC-CA Championship being contested at the TPC Blue Monster at Doral.  Presnell qualified for the event by finishing second to fellow Titleist Brand Ambassador Michael Sim on the 2009 PGA Tour of Australasia Order of Merit.  Presnell has been playing most of his golf on the Nationwide Tour courtesy of his victory at the 2009 Moonah Classic, an event co-sanctioned by the Nationwide Tour and PGA Tour of Australasia.  He'll be looking to improve on his 28th place finish on the 2009 Nationwide Tour money list to secure a full-time spot on the PGA Tour in 2011.  For more on Alistair and his debut this week at Doral, be sure to read Jim McCabe's blog post on Golfweek.com.

Alistair Presnell has his sights on reaching the PGA Tour full-time.

Hello Everybody,

I hope this email finds everyone well.  Sorry it's been over a week since I last posted but not a lot has been happening!  Unfortunately while I was home it basically rained the whole time so I cut my trip short and came back to the states early.  I returned to the US on Friday morning and spent a lot of time over the weekend at the Acushnet Test Facility in California.  The weather was cool in southern Cal but at least it wasn't raining.  I had a good few days there and then took the red-eye to Miami on Sunday.

I had a full on day Tuesday.  I played 9 holes with Rory McIlroy in the morning.  The course is in pretty good shape, it's always a challenging course and if the weather turns bad we could be in for some long rounds.  I also had a photo shoot for FootJoy and taped a segment for The Golf Channel after lunch.  I then had a few hours left of daylight and practiced on the putting green.  I'm feeling pretty good all in all.  It's a strong field and this event  is always challenging.  I played 9 holes again Wednesday and then did some work on the putting green followed by an early night.

I'll be playing in the Els for Autism Pro-Am next Monday.  It's a great cause and I'm glad I can lend my support this year.  Ernie and Liezl are doing great work through the Els for Autism Foundation and  I commend them for all their efforts.

I'm looking forward to a good week ahead and I'll write more from Tampa next week.

Until then, take care.
-Adam
