"Why are your contests/sweepstakes only for U.S. residents?"

We hear this question a lot and we certainly appreciate the concern and feedback we receive around having contests/sweepstakes that are open to all of our Team Titleist members including individuals who live outside of the U.S.

So we wanted to provide our Team Titleist members with a little more detail and information on why our contests/sweepstakes are only for current residents of the U.S.

Unfortunately, every country has specific laws, rules and regulations that govern contests such as the sweepstakes we typically offer, ranging from laws that require governmental registration to laws that forbid these types of contests altogether. Because of the wide range of rules and regulations, it is not possible to create a contest that is universally available to all of our valued Team Titleist members.

However, from time to time, our websites in certain countries sponsor contests for residents of those countries. If we host a website in your country of residence, we suggest visiting it for further details.

We hope this is helpful and we thank you for your support of Titleist.

Hmm... You want our money, but will not allow us to win any prices due to a small extra fee in some countries.

I start to think that my next set of clubs will not be Titleist (I'm now on my 3rd set)

    Hi Steen,

I apologize for any disappointment but the primary challenge we encounter in making sweepstakes that originate in the U.S. available to all of our valued Team Titleist members is the various rules and regulations that are specific to every country and region.

However (as noted above), from time to time, our websites in certain countries sponsor contests for residents of those countries. If we host a website in your country of residence, we suggest visiting it for further details.

we understand that sweepstakes are only for the USA, but just remember many countries around the world have golfers that play with only your brand name.i am a golfer with a 6 handicap and i am fully kitted titleist products and only play with pro v's so its quite sad to think that the agencies in South Africa cannot pass on the option to its ambassadors. we also stage the nedbank challenge at sun city, had the presidents cup and many international tournaments, so its time the suppliers here also give back to the players as a token of good and fair games-menship. yours for ever putting adrian linden RSA

Thank you for the information i understand where you are coming from. But it really disappoints me how I don't have the opportunity to win any prizes from my favourite golfers Rory Mcilroy and Adam Scott because I live in the U.K.

Thank you for your time Evie :)

    Hi Evie,

Make sure you check out the UK site as they run sweeps as well. One recent sweeps provided a TT member with the opportunity to caddy for Rafa Cabrera-Bello at the BMW PGA Championship. Here's a post featuring the sweeps winner:

You should include all USA territories(Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, Guam, ETC.). Most of the people that live on these territories are USA citizens. And as territories they are USA also. Keep up the good work with your products, I'll buy them cause I believe in them and I like to think of myself as a "Serious Golfer". Thanks

I can absolutely depend on the consistency and feel of the Pro V1 and Pro V1X. Distance off the tee and "stopability" on iron shots is outstanding. I cannot say the same for other balls I have tried. Titleist always comes out on top!

I made the switch to the Pro V1 this year, I loved the Pro V1X but as my swing speed had started to slow down over the past few years the black Pro V1 is much easier for me to compress and touch around the greens hasn't changed with this ball.

I think Canada should be added as they are our neighbors and are kind as well as friendly. Also there are some incredible courses in Quebec. If you haven't played North of the boarder I would strongly suggest that you make it a point to do so.

Note, Pro V1X is the ball of choice!

    Grindelwald,

Fully understand that the contests can only be limited to several countries due to the various laws.

Never the less, would it be possible to receive some of your bag tags or other stuff you are sending to people in the US also in Switzerland?
I already asked the question several times to Titleist UK, but didn't get any reply

Pro V1 is the ball for me. I get the most distance and control using this ball and it has helped me improve my short game and reduce my handicap.

Golf is a game played all over the world and lots of Titleist equipment is purchased all over the world by a lot of enthusiastic dedicated golfers. So for a small fee other countries should also be included in your sweepstakes. Stop making the US look elite in this field it won't do you any favours.
