We have travelled from eastern Ohio to Montana to visit with our son and grandsons playing golf along the way. Our destination, Helena which has some very good courses. Played in Terre Haute, Indiana, St. Joseph, Missouri, Kimball, Nebraska, and Sheridan, Wyoming along the way.
My grandson Byron has been taking lessons and at age 9 is hitting the ball pretty well. We went glamping. This was a place called Norwegian Woods that has lodging in 17 foot square carpeted tents and a challenging par 3 course. Other grandson Winston is also playing well and we enjoyed the stay.
Some good courses along the way, all bent grass. Some courses had challenging small greens to shot at.
