Sorry for your loss, Chris... I've not experienced that feeling yet, but I'm sure it is a terrible feeling.  I have faith in humanity... I think you'll get it back.

hopefully you had a good person playing behind you, i think if its anyone on here they would turn it in. i love finding the owner to a lost club on the course, golf is one sport where good karma never hurts. hope you find it

I found a Bushnell NEO+ GPS, playing in the Oakland City championships over the weekend, and turned it into the pro shop.  The guy looked at me strangely.  I just told him, it wasn't mine...a scout is "trustworthy".  Hopefully, the same will happen to you.

It's a shame you lost your wedge. I work at a golf course and find that wedges are rarely turned in to the pro shop. People will turn in clothing, head covers, clubs and lesser known wedges, but usually not a Vokey.

Great point Cart T about labeling your clubs somehow.  Hey Chris T I hope it works out for you.  It makes me feel good to hear the great stories about people returning things that they know don't belong to them.  Last year I found a brand new SM4 Vokey 56 deg on a green and of course would have loved to have it.  But as everyone on here has probably felt, its a sick feeling when you think you have lost a club and takes your mood straight down.  I had a feeling I should try to catch up to the group in front of me and sure enough it was theirs and the owner was thrilled about my discovery.  A few weeks later I played a golf outing for my church and during the warmup on the putting green I hit some chips then put my wedge down and hit a few chips.  Then they called for the players to their carts and away we went.  I got to my 2nd hole of the round and noticed my 54 deg was missing and I didn't pick it up from the grass where I was chipping/putting.  After next hole we made the turn so I swung by to check for my club.  Nothing to be found.  Asked pro shop and was unlucky there as well.  I was sunk and it totally killed my mood.  To think someone could steal a club in broad day light with golfers everywhere and just go about their business.  I was bitter for awhile but doing the right thing is always the best option and will continue to return clubs to the pro shop and Chris T I hope you will see your new wedge soon!!! 

Great News .... My wedge was turned in by a high school golfer the same day . The man working the pro shop that day put it in the demo bag ! Sooo it was AWOL for a few days !!!! Man I love my 54-14 F grind SM5 !! YES!!

Nice!!  Congrats, Chris... what a relief for you, I'm sure.  And good for the high school golfer that turned it in!!  But man... the guy putting it in a Demo bag???  He had to know someone would be looking for it.

I've left clubs on the first cut of the green before and luckily had them turned in. If I take my wedge and putter up to the green at the same time, I now lay my wedge on the green between the hole and where ever my bag is at(as long as it doesn't impede someone's shot) thankfully I haven't had this happen since I started this

I once left the sand wedge from my Titleist set on the first cut of the green.  No one turned it in so I replaced it with a Vokey SM4.  Loved it so much I now have 3 Vokeys on my bag (50/54/60).  =)
