I am currently using a Swoosh 60 Degree wedge with 10 degrees bounce. I love the club but the grooves are wore out so I am looking to replace it. Is there a way to to figure out what would be the closest Titleist SM5 replacement? I'm not sure which grind I would need. The markings on the club I have are SV and there is a T with a circle around it. Does this mean anything to anyone?

I believe the stampings of SV and a T with a circle around it means that it is supposed to be removed from your bag and replaced by a Vokey wedge! In all seriousness, got to a local fitter who is set up with all of the different wedge bounce and grind combinations and see what works best for your game. There are a number of different grinds out there that are all specific to your swing type, play conditions and how you use your wedges. Unfortunately, there is no easy answer on this one. If you want a starting place, take a look at the sole profile of your current wedge and see what matches up in the Vokey lineup. All of the various grinds should be available at your local retailer, but the fitter will get the right setup for your swing. Good luck and get ready for a new wedge that you love even more!

    Hi Mark,

I checked out some pics of the club you described and I think you might like the 60-11 K grind. Only real way to know though is to hold one in your hand and see how it sits at address when you open and close it the way you like.

Also, I think that might be an older club that used a softer metal, so the feedback you get may be very different than the current Vokey lineup. See if you can find demo one at a store so you can see if that feeling would bother you.
