When I played a lot of baseball we were told never to use our bats that were made with titanium in temperatures below 55degrees F. as they had a higher risk of cracking. I have always wondered does this also apply to drivers and woods that are made with titanium

I look forward to hearing what the experts say, however I would think that with the design work that goes into a driver that should not be an issue. I do recall I had an old driver (about 20 years ago) that had a thin face, and I did split the face one time, but I don't think that had anything to do with the Titanium, but more with the quality of manufacturing as it was not that expensive.
