Chris CYou might notice a difference in spin, but the question you should be asking is 'will more spin help me score better'. At the 30 handicap level, I would suggest using a good 2 piece ball, such as the DT-solo. It really is a great feel and performing ball for the price, and has one of the highest spin rates of any 2 piece ball. Until you can accurately control the distances of your approach irons, stopping the ball on a dime or spinning it back won't benefit your score. I would suggest trying the DT-solo and taking the extra $$$ that you save and investing in lessons....
