prototype ball testing

I also tested the new ball posted my observations at the web site provided in the box I received them in (titleist.com/ballpanel2), the instructions indicated that I would need my team titleist username & password to login and complete the survey however these were not actualy required. I completed the survey but want to be sure that I responded to the correct place. I thought the ball felt much like a Pro V1X off of the tee with the driver but felt a little softer more workable with medium iron play and more like a regular Pro V1 chipping and putting.

Hi David,

If you were able to access the survey directly by following the link provided you were already logged into Team Titleist. You are only prompted to enter you username and password if you are not logged in, so you should be all set.  Thanks for taking the time to complete the test panel and finish the survey, we appreciate it.

me and my son both played the ball you sent for testing. i play the pro v1x as my no 1 ball. this ball was a lot like the pro v1x. it was great off the tee and had a good feel while putting. i would play this ball. thanks david chambley.

David,

I received the balls you sent me. What is the link for the eval. or I can send it directly to you?

Hi Rick,

Here are the URLs for the test panel surveys. Thanks for taking the time to participate and we look forward to your feedback.

If your test golf balls had black numbers, please visit: http://www.titleist.com/ballpanel1
If your test golf balls had red numbers, please visit: http://www.titleist.com/ballpanel2

RE Ballpanel2,
The ball had noticeably more distance off the tee by 10 to 15 yards, and yet had exceptional spin for shots 100 yards and out.Landed softly for pitch shots and chips, and checked well on long iron shots. The ball had a good feel but almost felt like you didn't get all of it on some shots.

I just finished playing the prototype ball (panel2) over 36 holes and must say I was very impressed with it. Great putting feel and it definitely shaved strokes off my normal score with it's short game stopping ability on the greens. It blew away the Pinnacle Gold that I compared it against. Can I get more of these prototypes!

How can i participate in these ball testings

Same here, how do I enter for testing as I'd love to test out the new balls..

Dear Mike D,

Hello I am a memeber of Team Titleist and there is a buzz going around about these prototype golf balls but I have not seemed to recieve any and i was wondering if I could possibly get some.

Steve Souchek

Hi guys,

Thanks for all of the feedback and great questions. Unfortunately all of the test golf balls were sent out last month. In terms of the selection process, we do our best to include as many Team Titleist members as possible in these exclusive opportunities like the golf ball test panels but unfortunately we are unable to include everyone in every opportunity.

However, the more you participate and the more engaged you are with Team Titleist, from posting here in the discussions and adding blog comments to completing your profile, the better your chances are at potentially opening the doors to Team Titleist rewards, including the opportunity to participate in future product test panels, take part in exclusive sweepstakes and attend one-of-a-kind events.

We're excited to offer more of these Team Titleist perks in the future to our most dedicated members.

So where on the website do we go to learn about the product test panels, and sign up for things of that nature?  Sorry new member, just trying to get the lay of the land.

I think that's a pretty fair statement. To me this ball felt like a combination of the old ProV1X and the Penta ball with exceptional durability. I think Titleist could have a winner. :)

i also tested the new ball that ball was so nice i cant wait to be able to buy some i found it long off the tee and great into the greens with mid irons and such a soft feal with the wedges.

How can I get in on the testing of the prototype balls?
