Did you shoot your lowest score ever? Win an early season tournament? Break 80 for the first time? Make a hole-in-one? Get up-and-down from a seemingly impossible lie?

We'd love to hear about your experiences and success stories while playing the New Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf balls. Even if you're still waiting to hit the highlight reels this season, we would still appreciate your feedback.

So feel free to share your stories on how the new golf ball is already helping you shoot lower scores. We're looking forward to reading them!

Don’t forget to post an action shot of you on the course if you have one. And who knows, your story might end up in one of our ads…

I shot a 69 in the first round of the Idaho State Junior golf tournament and was tied for the lead after the first day as a 14 year old using my ProV1X golf ball, 905R Driver, AP2 irons, and Vokey Wedges.

shot my life's lowest round(64) with a new pro v1 4 weeks ago, and 2 months ago I made a hole in one on a 409 yard long par 4 dogleg right, of course I used a new Pro v1 for that amazing experience :D

Mike, I have played the pro v1 since they were introduced. The new pro v1x has helpd my game tremendously. I shot the lowest round of my life with this ball, a 67. They are simply amazing. They are far superior to the callaway tour iS ball in all aspects of the game. Longer drives closer wedge shots. SIMPLY AMAZING!

Recently I received a sleeve of both Pro V1 and Pro V1x balls in the mail, the newer balls have had such great reviews, and after hitting both I played a round with my brother on my home course.  The day started off good going Par and Par on the first two holes, the driver was working great with the new Pro V1x and my D3...as the round got better paring the next three holes, I was starting to feel the pressure.  My brother said "5 pars in a row, you have a solid round going, but you have a lot of pressure...next hole I missed the approach, chipped up and two putted for boggy.  I than made birdie on the next two wholes and par the remainder and was looking great.  The ProV1x was awesome off the tee both for driver and irons on par 3's.  I have noticed the ball has much more bounce and on approach shots and short par 3's the ball is one bounce and stop!

As we turned the corner my brother again announced, no pressure but your having the round of your life.. I just smiled and hit a drive 280 right down the right side...position A on number 10.  I missed the green, chipped up and made par...than went boggy, boggy  but than found my rythum and went par with looks at birdie all the way to 17...I was looking at the best round to date, two holes to go, I am 2 over on Par 72....if I par the next two holes I will have the best round ever...but as it was I made mental mistakes and made boggy on the next two holes...ending with a 76, tying my best round shot just two weeks prior.  The ProV1x ball carried me through and was great...my brother kept putting the pressure on, but the ball, my most important piece of equipment never let me down...thanks Titleist and ProV1x

I got a hole in one at Capital City Club in Fulton county GA. I watched tw win the ATT championship back in 2004 on the same course..and he DIDNT get a hole in one. So i can say i got a hole in one on a hole that tw didnt!! not many people can say that! still got the ProV1 in my ball case to this day! I also got an albatross on a par 5 from about 245yds out with a 3 wood. i just couldnt bring myself to leave that part out! and it was a DTsolo so both of my trophy balls are Titleist!!

I am a player for the switzerland point middle school golf team and we were playing against a rival school when on the 9th green at Palencia, par 5 , i got unlucky and hit a poor seven iron to the green and was on the back side. The green was all sloping down and to the left hard. i had all my teammates tell me to putt my next shot but that wasn't what i wanted to do so i hit my chip and, BOOM! i nailed it right in to save par and shoot a 43. that is my great moment with the new Titleist Pro V1.

Hi there. I just wanted to let you know that I recently changed to the Titleist Pro V1X golf ball because I read on your golf ball fitting page on your site that said slower swing speed players can benefit from a Pro V1. Wow! Straighter on all shots, great feel and feedback, (especially off the putter face), amazing distance and superb spin! I also tried the Pro V1, but it had too much long game spin for me, and therefore significantly increased my slight draw off the tee, which I don't like as I prefer a slight draw, the feel off the putter face was far too soft for me. I like a slightly firmer feel than the Pro V1, and the Pro V1X is perfect for me. I'm Benjamin Hegan and I'm proud to say that Iplay the Titleist Pro V1X. Thanks Titleist for making the best ball in golf and helping me immensely to shoot lower scores, keep it up. Thank you very much Titleist, you are the best brand in golf, in my opinion! Thanks, Benjamin Hegan (off 24 handicap), Northern Ireland.

Got a hole in at my club, hole number two 100 yards with a ProV1x ball hit it twelve feet above the hole and it spun back in the hole.   March 29 2011.  Ronnie Woods

I just turned 24 and have been playing since I was about 11.  Golf has been always been a journey for me. I have played the Titleist NXT for what seems like ages.  This past weekend I was playing with a friend at Keith Hills CC in Buies Creek, NC.  I decided that I was going to play a round for the first time with the Pro V1x.  I had heard so many great things for so many years and my swing was coming around so I decided to give it a go.  On the 3rd hole I had 170 to a pin that was tucked in the back right corner.  The ball took two bounces and rolled in for my first ace!  Looks like I'm a Pro V1xer for life now...Here's a picture of my ball in the bottom of the cup!

On Friday April 8th 2011, I rearranged my morning schedule to catch a quick nine with a buddy at a local city course. We attempted  to get on the regular course but was met with a large (already disgruntled) golfing scene. After careful deliberation, considering getting held up or being pushed, we decided on the more vacant executive nine. Approaching the first tee, I felt somewhat shortchanged but the feeling quickly faded as I stabbed the wet grass with a golf ball toothpick and placed my Titleist Pro V1 on its pedestal. We started off pretty good, great second shots also. "Okay, feeling good", I said to myself, "Good start, just keep it up". I had no idea what was lurking just a few holes away. Par on the first (par 4), par on the 2nd (par 3), bogey on the 3rd (par 5). Stepping up to the 4th tee box, as I look back, was definitely surreal. 120yd par 3, 10-12 mph left to right breeze with a large dip of trees right in front. I armed myself with my PW, took several slow practice swings, and lined up to the ball. The next few seconds are hard to remember because the only thing I was thinking when I pushed the club back ever so smoothly (like church music) was ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Crisped it! Slight fade, riding the breeze. Mr. Pro V1 makes an appearance on the front edge of the green like a red carpet affair! I did not try to put backspin on it so the ever so faithful ball bounces twice, then from my vantage point the ball appeared to stop. I later realized it did that because the flag stick was white and the ball was directly on line with it. I began to see it unfolding. The ball kept rolling towards the hole, so I did not yell "get in the hole" because I didn't want to scare the ball out of the cup. I ever so casually whispered "get in the hole" like whispering a juicy secret to a friend and the ball disappeared from our line of sight! The next few minutes were met with hootin' and hollerin', hat and glasses in the air along with the club (I later apologized to my trusty PW). I did not expect it and to this day cannot wipe the smile of my face. My only hole in one! I cannot explain the euphoria associated with such a tremendous feat. I have the post shot 22 second video and will try to upload. Thank you Mr. ProV1. You have earned your retirement!

I was playing Whiskey Creek Golf Course in Ijamsbille, MD  (http://www.whiskeycreekgolf.com/whiskey.asp)

On the Par 3 11th hole, I got as lucky as we can ever get with a hole in one.  You can see the picture of my ball in the hole, which is a ProV1X  #2 as usual, as my photo for Hayden G  on Team Titleist page.

Love this game

With all the snow we got last winter, we got a later start than usual up here in New Hampshire. First round out of the gate, shot 74, lowest first round ever after 35+ years of golf... AP2 irons, Vokey wedges, Scotty Cameron Red-X putter, 909H hybrids, 909F2 3-wood and 907D2 driver (910D3 on order!)... and ProV1x... Thanks Titleist!

during one of my first tournaments of the year i had a poor tee shot on a 184 yard par 3. about 15 yards left of the green. i had to get up and over a bunker, 5 feet of rough and had about 3 feet of green to work with. immediately pulled out my 60* Vokey lob wedge and popped it up, landed perfectly, bounced once and went in the whole.the best shot i ever hit with the best ball on the planet, Titleist pro v1x!!

Mike, I play in Florida for the winter at Fiddlesticks CC. I love playing Pro V 1 golf balls but because I am not the best golfer and considering the cost of losing a ball I reserve them for tournament play. In Feb your reps were at our club to help us find our best ball for our game. I told them my story and was taken back when your rep asked why I don't want to score well every time I play. I realized he was right and have since been using the prov1x. This year I won the ladies Senior and Club Championships. I am now sold on scoring my best  every time I play and the prov1x  helps me do that. I am playing better and actually lose less golf balls.

Alex P

today, i played and i was competing with someone, we came up to the 14th, i was even 1 dn. i hit 3 wood on the dogleg and he hit driver 70 yds off the green because he cuth the corner. Anyway, i was 121 yards out and hit gapwedge into the hole using a prov1, and i won my bet by 1.

Mike

I have gbeen playing golf for 5 years now.

I am a junior at a local club and play off 18. I wen't on a holiday as i do every year to spain, and the first round there from 40 yards i chipped in for birdie. The group on the next tee saw my shot and were amazed. The next day i did it again. But this time it was on a longer par 4 the first was on a 330 yard par 4 the second 410.

i hope you enjoyed my story.

Hi Mike,

I played the New Pro V1 during our club's Wednesday night scramble last week -- drove it on two par 4's (289 and 297 yards respectively -- a bit of tail wind on the second). Since I just turned 56, I'm now considered a senior in the group so I get to play from the "old man" tees. One benefit from growing older...

Anyway, it's the best ball I've seen from Titleist - and I've been a loyalist since I played on our high school team in the early '70s. By the way I also attended a "ball fitting" by one of the competition and the ProV1 is/was still the best ball for me.

Congratulations to the entire Titleist team. Please keep up the great work.

Dale

My name is Bruce Fay. I'm 61 years old. I've been playing golf off and on since I was 14 and have played countless rounds on many courses all over the USA and Australia. On Saturday April 30, 2011, I finally made my first Hole-In-One ever. I hit a hybrid 4-iron into the wind on a slightly uphill 174 yard par 3 on my home course (Wanumetonomy Golf & Country Club in Middletown, RI). The ball hit three feet in front of the hole and bounced into the cup. The ball I used is a PRO V1X and it's the only ball I play.

My name is Gerry Veydt, and I have been a member of Hayfields Country Club in Hunt Valley, Maryland since it's opening in 1998.  I began taking lessons in the fall of 2010 from Gary Marlowe, a retired PGA touring pro, in the hopes of getting my handicap to the low teens from its current 18.  Gary is a die hard titelist fan and would not consider using anything but Titleist equipment.  It probably doesn't hurt that his father-in-law is the CEO of Ashcunet, either.

In any event, I had my first hole-in-one a couple of years ago on the 11th hole at Hayfields.  Coincident with the start of my lessons in the fall of 2010, I have had 3 additional aces on holes #8, 11 and 14 at Hayfields.  When and if I get one on hole #3, I will be the first person in the history of the club to have an ace on all 4 par 3's.

Gary tells me that it is not his instruction that has resulted in a trio of aces within 12 months, but rather, the titleist equipment he has convinced me to play.  As much as I love my new 910 D2 driver and the Pro V1, I still think his lessons are responsible for this freakish success.

Mike,

I am the golf pro at Rock Creek Golf Club Texas. I have been playing the Titleist ball since the 80's. I was on the testing board for the new ball and while I was testing the ball I made my 5th hole in one at our course all of them with members. Three of them are on par 4's. The new Titleist ball is longer less spin off the driver, more controlled spin from the fairway and around the green. Most important is putting not to soft or hard off the face just perfect. Thank you for all Titleist has done for me and look forward for many more years! The last hole in one was with the new titleist Pro V and was 368yds. AMAZING BALL!!!!!

Mike..
I have been a Titleist ball user since I started playing 48 years ago. I remember going to Pebble Beach where the Pro accepted a dozen of new Titleist golf balls in lieu of cash for the green fee. I don't remember anything about the round other than learning the value of that box of Titleist balls.
Recently I joined a couple of good friends for my birthday round of golf at the Bayonet Black Horse course in Seaside Ca where on the 4th hole, 176 yards, had my very first hole in one using a Titleist Prov-1x.  Even more meaningful was the fact that my daughter had given me the ball as a birthday present. She later told me that she told my wife that she was going to by a box of balls for me and asked what brand. My wife made a few calls to my golfing buddies and then told my daughter "don't buy anything other than Titleist ProV-1x for dad he won't use anything else".
Regards to the Titleist Team..

Dear Titleist Friends,

I am the Pastor at First Christian Church in Meridian, MS. We held a golf scramble for members and the Number 2 Ranked Meridian Community College Golf Team on April 2. I played and on the holy number seven, I pulled out a nine iron for an uphill shot at Northwood Country Club (135 yards). The wind was blowing in our face. The ball looked good as it hit the green.

We went to the green and looked for the ball. One of the MCC players went to the hole, looked in, and turned to me and said, "You don't need to putt." Then he broke out with a huge smile! It was my  first hole in one!

Thankfully the ball was a TITLEIST #1 New ProV1.   My nickname is "Parson" and it was the golfing highlight of my life, especially considering it was during a church golf tourney! God has a great sense of humor!

Thanks for the memory Titleist!

Played the new Pro V1 that were given to me at Pinehurst to test and played 45 holes with the same ball and really loved the feel particularly putting.  On Pinehurst course #2 played the back 9 and shot 38, at Carolina Trace Lakes Course shot 76 in the Inter Club Tournament and Pinehurse Course #4 shot 77.  Was well pleased with the way I played with my currrent index being 10.

I have been playing the Pro V1x but will be playing Pro V1's from now on.

I was fortunate to trial the NEW ProV1 prior to delivery to the market place. I trialed it just as Titleist requested  and discovered the ball worked wonders around the green with pitch shots and putting. I monitored the trials the Pro's were doing and discovered they really loved the ball.

I had not hit the ball with my driver yet but decided one day in a match that I would use THE ball. I belonged to a private club for 20 years and on hole #6, a par 5, the "Big Dogs" could carry the hill , which was a VERY NICE drive. In all my 20 years, I had NEVER driven a ball that far. The NEW Pro V 1 made a believer out of me as now I can carry that hill with the "Boys".

The group of elderly gentlemen that I now play with are touting that I'm using an illegal ball, because my drives are longer than normal, as they all know where I used to hit the ball. My handicap has dropped 2 strokes also. Keep'um coming Titleist.

Mike I may have the story of all stories... In February I was playing at my home course, Black Creek in Chattanooga TN. I came to the 7th hole 215 yard par 3. I pulled my 4 iron and put my new ProV1 on a tee and made my first hole in one... We went nuts! That's not even the best part of the story! 4 holes later we came to a 178 yard par 3 and defying the 167 milion to 1 odds I hit my 2nd hole in one. Yep 2 hole in ones in one round. It was an awesome day and I have 2 ProV1s to thank for that... Thanks Mike http://www.timesfreepress.com/news/2011/feb/18/travis-two-aces-in-a-day/

I recently had two hole-n-ones at my home course. They were within a two week period.

4-3-11 I had a hole-n-one on the 150yd. 8th hole

4-17-11 I had a hole-n-one on the 147yd. 13th hole

I was using the Titleist Pro V1x when I had both of my hole-n-ones. It is the only ball I will play with.

PS: I love the golf ball so much that I just recently named my Doberman Titleist.

Hello,

I am 64 yrears old and I am now using the NEW Pro V1 golf balls. They all tell me now, "I am out there witht he BIG boys."  My drives are averaging 285 ...maybe a bit mre. WOW!  Iam VERY very happy!  Dave Incardona

I had two eagles in a row with the new pro v. I'm no hero golfer either. I am good for about 2 or 3 a year. Needless to say this was the first time it's ever happened in my life.
It was a 510ish downhill par 5 and I hit the drive of my life ( I don't really have the long ball). I had about 220 to the green and hit my 17* to about 10 feet and drained the putt.
My playing partner made some sly comment about being lucky.
The next hole is a short par 4 and I put it on the fairway about 150 out. I hit a really pure 8 iron that checked up and limped into the hole. I looked at him and said "you were saying something about luck" I'm pretty sure he picked up a box of new pro v's right after that. It was also the first time I beat him.
It was the best 19th hole ever.

Ben Hegan

Hello again

I played my first full round with the new V1X's, WOW! I hit my 3 wood further than I hit my driver (with an old ball)! The accuracy of my shots was much improved to less sidespin of the X model. And, I didn't lose a ball the whole round, I have never done this before, thanks Titleist.

I am a Titleist player for life.

Thank you very much Titleist, you really do make the best ball in golf!

Thanks,

Benjamin.

Dear Team Titleist,

I just shot my lowest round ever(68) with the new Pro-V1X, I just love this ball, its long off the tee and it comes off my Scotty oh so beautifully when putting. I also have to give a little credit to my 909's(Driver, woods and hybrids) and to my old trusty 735s CMs, just love everything Titleist. Never been so confident on my equipment since I picked up my first club 11 years ago. Thank you Titleist.

Well I have not shot my lowest round ever, but I am bringing down my handicap index rather well. I shot a 88 today with several lost strokes due to poor putts, or it would have been in 83-84 range.  I owe it all to the ProV1X ball and the way it leaps away from the club face when I hit it.  I was hitting the NXT line and it was good, but I have noticed a major difference in the ProV line.  I am a convert and will go tell it on the mountain if need be.  Now I am gonna try and get that index down from a 14 to a sub 10.  So hopefully I will be reporting good news by end of summer.  have a good one people and keep hitting those Titleist int he short grass.

Harold S

Had my dad pick up a dozen ProV1x's on the way down to NC because they were on sale.  Handed him the cash on the first tee and pulled out a brand new red #5.  After I birdied the 16th, my 3rd birdie out of a possible 4 par 5s, i reflected on the fact that i had a good shot at breaking 80.  Two up and downs for par, and i asked my friend what I shot......72, even par!  First time ever shooting even par.  Kept the ball and the scorecard.  Re-gripping the AP2s tonight, back at it tomorrow.  Driver fitting in less than two weeks....next goal....round under par!

Thanks Titleist.

Last spring I played in our high school conference tournament. Having a reputable season to this point, I had been 4th in the conference player of the year standings. While playing under immense pressure, I trusted my ProV1 to get me around the course that day. After starting off with two disappointing bogeys, I decided to aim at the flag on the difficult 12th. Using my 54 degree Vokey I pured a shot straight into the hole for my first ever Hole-In-One!!!!! The next hole was a reachable Par 5. I reached the green in 2 and could not belief I was putting for back to back eagles! I made the putt and continued the round at 2 under 70. This sensational round vaulted me all the way to 1st in the conference player of the year standings. Thanks to the entire Titleist line of equipment and golf balls I can truely say that I am a champion because of you.

Thank you for the remarkable performance,

Mike,

I am playing the new Pro V1 and it is by far the best ball I have ever played. I have communicated this to our Titleist Rep Todd Jenkins, who is the greatest rep we have ever had in Brownwood, Tx.

Also, i have a question, "Is there a Titleist golf ball archive similar to the Club archive?" Mayb you can direct me to the right place to ask the question. Thanks

Would love to try new pro v 1 x's but there isn't any golf ball fitting days around here and I was wondering if you could send me a couple 2 packs or a sleeve of them so I can try and then write about them

Two weekends ago I played in 20-30 mph winds. I walked up to the 4th tee which was a 220 yard par 3 into the wind. There was water in front of the green so I was forced to pull out my driver since my 3 wood probably wouldn't make it there due to the wind. I teed up my Titleist Pro V1 and hit it straight into the extremely strong wind. My Pro V1 ended up hitting about a yard short of the pin, rolled up, and lipped out! It sat there about two feet from the hole. I have never gotten a hole in one, but I couldn't imagine the feeling I would have had if that ball dropped. I ended up shooting a 42 on the nine holes I played because of a 9 on the last hole, which was a par 5. I will never forget the shot I had on that par 3 with that amazing Pro V1, which did exactly what I wanted. I'm going out tomorrow and you can be sure that I will be hitting another Pro V1 with my AP2's,  Vokey wedges, 910F, and Scotty Cameron that are sitting in my 14-way Titleist bag! The only thing missing is the 910 driver, which I hope to have by the end of the summer.

shot 81 this past Saturday at Dyker Beach in Brooklyn using the new Pro V1 and wearing a Titleist Players Glove - my best score in three years!  I had a put for 79 on 18, unfortunate 3 putt - but I'm still very happy!  Onward to the 70s!

The new Pro V1 ball rocks - no doubt, no question.

It was last Tuesday, May 10th. I was turning the Big 4-0 and celebrating with a round of golf at Sandy Burr CC in Wayland, MA. Standing in the pro shop, I decided to treat myself to a sleeve of ProV1's (rather than my usual NXT Tours).

I played a solid front nine, which for me means a 42. But it was cold and nasty out...and I was playing with my old college roommate who also posted a solid from nine (for him) of 67 ;-)

On the back, I parred the 200 yard uphill par 3 10th. And then, with my approach on the par 5 11th, "it" happened:

70 yards to a middle right hole location. Grabbed my 59.09 Black Nickel Vokey Spin Milled, stood over my ProV1 and took dead aim.

Slight draw...over the top of the flag...hit...one hop...zip back 8-10 feet to 2 inches (see photo).

What, you were expecting a hole out?!

For a mid-handicapper like myself, watching a ProV1 react just like I hoped/dreamed it would was a 40th birthday present I won't soon forget.

Any round that I get to play  with my father and brother is very much a blessing.  My dad is retired and cared for my mother every day she was fighting cancer until her passing.  My brother retired from the Air Force and took care of all of our freedoms along with all the other soldiers (Thanks to ALL of you).

Dad is a scratch golfer and my brother is bringing his game around.  We are all very much different and so much the same.

We all love golf so very much and all play Titleist clubs and balls.

Mike and the Titleist staff, Thanks for the opportunity to tell our stories for all to read.

While I still have quite a few of the older model balls, 2009-2010, I tried the new ones today and found that they are better. I found that I got more distance and was able to get more spin on the ball on approach shots to the green and much better putting with the firmer feel of the ball off the putter. Of course, I have been using ProV1 and ProV1x for the last several years, but have always been a Titleist fan for more than 50 years. Over all the time I have been golfing, the Titleist ball has been my choice over all the others I have tried and now that I own a set Of AP2s and Vokey wedges (52, 56 & 60), I am now working to get all of my other clubs with the Titleist name on them. Needless to say, I am very, very happy with my Titleist clubs and balls. The only thing I am currently trying to figure out is how Titleist is going to improve their line of clubs and balls?

according to the brand new launch monitor the pro v1 was the worst ball for me having an inconsistent ball flight and distance..... but the nxt-tour was the best with 5 yards between 3 of the shots so im an nxt'er ..... figured i should mention i have won my last 2 juniour competitions with the nxt ..... the 2 after the ball fitting, im guessing its down to the ball then =]

Hi Mike,

Playing a ProV1x I shot a 1-under 34 on the front nine at Harmon Golf Club in Rockland, MA, and an 18 hole total of 75. It's the first time I shot under par for nine holes. Not bad for an 11.2 handicap. :-)

Thank you,

Sean

Just received my order of new Pro V1x balls from the buy 3 dozen and get 1 free offer. Couldn't wait to try them out as I had been recently fitted for them at a demo day. I finally had a chance to hit the course this week while on travel and try them out on the Tom Fazio designed Butterfield Trail golf course in El Paso Texas. I am a 15 handicapper and I was expecting the worse as the weather conditions were not the best as the west texas winds were living up to their reputation with winds blowing at 30 mph and gusts up to 45mph!!! All I can say is WOW for how the ball played in those conditions. I couldn't believe how well the ball cut through the winds and especially how approach shots and chips to the green just checked up.  I was playing the best short game of my life in terrible conditions. The bottom line was I shot a 2 over 38 on the front nine!! The only thing that was different from any other previous round in the past was the ball.  I had never even come close to a score like before even in perfect weather. My playing partner was amazed at how well the ball performed especially in such high winds. Unfortunately we could not play the back nine as the weather just got too miserable. So I am now looking forward to playing a full 18 with the Pro V1x to see if I can shoot my lowest 18 hole score and finally break 80! I can't say enough about the performance of these new Pro V1x's. You have a customer for life now!

I was playing the 6th round in 3 days at Lost Canyons Sky Course near Los angeles, I was tired, sore and had jsut hurt my ankle stumbling on a hillside.  One the 7th hole, a 170 yd beauty, I

It is interesting to do this. We go south in the winter and I change from the ProV1x to the ProV1 due to the lack of humidity. Plus the weather is hotter and ground is drier so the ball goes farther. In colder weather down there I revert back to the V1x. In Iowa, where we live, I use the ProV1x and NXT Tour in the colder weather. One would not believe the difference in performance that I have encountered, but have tried other balls and the ProV1 & ProV1x are my staples.

I was playing with two members and Art Stricklin at RockCreek Golf Club Gordonville, Texas 76245. With the perfect driver and ball combination which is the R11 with UST Attas 2 7x shaft and the new Titleist ProV1. I aced number six a 418 yard par 4. This was Unbelievable and feels wonderful. Thank you Titleist for my 20th hole-in-one on par 4''s!

In late 2010 my friend switched from Srixon to Titleist Prov1x. My friend was such a die hard Srixon man that the vanity plate on his car said Srixon. He has been bugging me to at least try a Pro v golf ball. I always refused. I did not want to be like the majority of people we play with and did not think that it would make THAT MUCH difference from the others. Finally on July 6, 2011 at the recommendation of a golf pro at my local Edwin Watts I decided to try the Pro v1. My normal putter had to be shipped to the
manufacturer for 3 weeks because of a defect so I even had to use a putter that I had only used one other time. It was a Scotty Cameron that I got a deal on that I could not refuse and was gathering dust in my garage. I normally shoot anywhere from 86 – 93. On this day though using a ball that I have NEVER used and a putter that I have only used 1 other time, I shot a 76. It would have been a 74 but I hit 2 terrible shots with my Gap wedge. 2 of my wedges are Vokeys which I absolutely love and the 3rd one, you guessed it, is not a Vokey. Guess what I will be purchasing promptly. I am now a believer in Titleist golf balls and can’t believe the difference in premium balls. Now I understand why it is the #1 ball in golf

I have recently switched over from the old Pro V1x's to the new ones and have seen a difference in my game. I have dropped two strokes consistently. I am receiving more distance and more spin. A week ago I chipped in from 50 yards. It was a flop shot over a bunker kicked off the hill and rolled 20 feet into the hole.

I spent a number of hours testing a variety of premium golf balls. I had no preconceived notions going into the testing, I just wanted the ball that would perform the best for me. The Titleist ProV1x came out on top, this kind of surprised me, but I couldn't fault my results as my testing was quite rigorous and involved a number of variables.

The ProV1x is now the ball I play.

Over the weekend using a Pro V1X, I shot my best round of the year, a 79. Thanks, Titleist Chris

I can hit the PRO V1 with consistent accuracy and distance until the cover starts to split after being subjected to pure abuse. There has got to be good secret stuff inside that white cover.

WHERE MY PARTNER HIT MY PROV1x!!!!

During one night in my Tuesday League... the day's format was alternate shot. I just barely missed the fairway with my tee shot on the left side of a par 5 slightly dogleg left.  I told my partner to hit our second shot back towards the fairway near the 150 yard marker.  Needless to say he missed way right and put my "brand new-just out of the box ProV1x" under the tree (picture included).  Which I had just to punch out... we lost the hole but managed to halve our match.

I have used the prov1 balls for over a year and the only problem that i have even noticed was that sometimes the balls would come with deffections on them which bummed me out bacause it had to affect the preformance. I was woundering if anybody new where to go to tell titleist.

Played my first round with the new Pro V1X, after having to take a year off from golf. having used nike balls before, I decided to make the change to the Pro V1X and loved it. I found myself able to controll the ball a lot better with my irons, it putts great and rolls consistant on the green. Off the tee with my driver the only problem was with myself and not the golf ball at all; however, I did manage to figure things out and hit more fairways than ever before.

i used a pro v1 to make my hole in one it was a great exciting experience and i am glad i shared it with a titleist golf ball thanks titleist and keep making the titleist company better and better(not that it isn't the best already)

Best (looking) shot of my life-

I was laid up about 75 yards on a big green with a back to front slope.  There was water short, and nasty rough on the back side of the green.  I knew I had more yards in the club than I needed, but with the predictable spin of the Pro V1 I tried to pull off a heck of a shot.  I pulled out my Vokey 60* and hit it pure right over the pin.  It landed all the way on the back tier of the green and then pulled the string.  It spun back about 30 yards and just lipped out of the cup on the way back stopping about 3 feet of the cup.  It would have been better if it went in, but I have to say that it was thrilling to hit one "like the pros".

I recently took the PGA PAT at Mile Square Golf Course in Fountain Valley, CA. I played the same Titleist Pro V1 for both rounds, 75-78 to pass the PAT! It was my first time attempting it and was very excited to do it.

congratulations. are you going to try to become a teaching pro?

I ended up breaking 80 for the first time, at a course that I just so happen to play for the 2nd time. It was important for a few reasons... First was, this was the course that hooked me into golf so deep, that I'll never turn back. Cuscowilla golf club, a fantastic Coore and Crenshaw course. Secondly, it was a great round, with random guys out there enjoying their friday. It was also my last round as a single man, and I played it the weekend of my wedding, which was AT the club.

So I broke 80 for the first time, on my last round as a single man, the day before my wedding, and did it with a ProV1 #9.

Epic... We also gave out Custom #9 ProV'1s at the wedding on every table, and I had a Titleist bag grooms cake!

I know I already posted, but Saturday I had an eagle from 165 out.  It was the perfect little draw, tracking all the way, that found it's way into the bottom of the cup.  My Pro V "Giahotsauce" #7 just took one bounce, checked up, and trickled into the back pin.

Got Up-and-Down on the 13th Hole at Pontiac Elks Uphill, Shortsided, San Wedge to 3 feet! :)

Unlike most others it seems, I did not loose the first ball.  Not that I am better than them, NO WAY.  Just got lucky.  I have one the shelf for keepers.  Still have the other two.  So to the test.

Feel was really good.  Much softer off the club.  Kind of a bit too soft, but I can get used to it.  I found myself swinging easier cause of the feel.  That improved the score I will guess.  The increased spin is an issue for me.  Had three spin off the green after landing behind the pin.  Granted, I need to learn how to control that.  Off the Tee, the added spin did make my natural draw aiming kind of a joke.  It took five holes before I really got used that spin off the Tee.  Made the dog legs a bit easier, I like that.  The fast I can get a wedge in my hand the better.  Speaking of wedges; the new ball did not cut as harshly.  I did use an older ball and hit the same shot, and could see the difference in the cut surface of the ball. Putting. I had to move to the Blacked Out Laguna.  My Newport was too heavy and I was pushing the ball past the hole.  The softer feel, lighter putter, with the Marsh mellow feeling face, was money (Literally).  I gave a couple skins back, but made up to it with closest to pin, and long drive.  Thanks Team Titleist for the $190.00.

Mike - could be interesting that Titleist Team member 80 year old Joe Roberts scored eight birdies to shoot 69 in the opening round of Gainesville, Georgia's City Championship Sep. 19. Roberts, playing Titleist AP2 irons and ProV1 golf balls, won the City Super Senior Championship the following day. He also holds the same 2013 title at Chicopee Woods, another Gainesville course.

Hard work and dedication is finally paying off!  Had a great day of golf.  Titleist has the best gear in golf.  Oh yeah, "Fear the white pants!"
