In terms of the selection process, all Team Titleist members are considered when we have opportunities like this but the final selection will vary depending on the test panel.  

We make every effort to include as many Team Titleist members as possible in these opportunities, but as you can imagine, we unfortunately are not able to include everyone in every test panel.

Do we eventually find out what ball it was that we were fortunate enough to test?

I suppose it is possible that Titleist may have had 2 versions of Test with black or red numeral.  In any event, I would doubt that the test balls this cycle are ProVs, since they were 2013 releases and the NXT/DT Solo/Velocity balls were released in 2012.  I did love the red numeral test ball I got (certainly the equal or better) compared to the NXT Tour and ProV1x that I also played with.  To note, I don't generate a lot of spin greenside, so NXT and ProV1x play close to each other for me.  Test was the longest so I'm hoping it will be the 2014 NXT Tour (.....and available in Optic....)
