This is just a curiosity question.  I know that all Titleist golf balls are made from different types of materials and different construction styles (2 piece, 4 piece etc.) and as such have different playing characteristics.  But I was wondering if there was one that rolled better/truer on the putting green?

Doubtful. The Titleist history includes being founded as the Acushnet Company to produce balls with better balance to minimize wobble due to off center weighting. Touch and feel are so important in putting that some players will prefer a ball with a softer cover. I'm not overly sensitive (my wife agrees) so it took hitting a top-rock distance ball on a green to understand what that means. You can use that in testing a ball from green to tee. You might find Pro-V1 is preferred to the 1x or NXT Tour for your stroke.

I just use Pro V1s. The other balls have covers that feel harder so i'm sure they roll differently. So I just use the same ball I play with for short game and putting practice.

I buy logo overruns every couple of years for this, about 100 bucks every 2 years.
