When Titleist comes out with new golf ball designs, they should sell a 6 pack. A sleeve of prov1 and prov1x. That way the loyalist get to try both at a discounted price. #TT

    That's a very good idea-an introductory promotion for a month or 2.

I ended up getting a box of each yesterday (I'm a ball hoarder anyway) to try since I'm not sure which one to play now.

As a member of Team Titleist, I have been selected to help test new golf balls. If you fill out the equipment survey, you will be entered into the list to test also.

I usually buy a couple sleeves at my pro shop when I need to do some testing and on occasion I can get a 2 ball sample pak when he has them.
  6. That is a great idea especially since they changed the characteristics of each ball. I was fortunate enough to play they test ProV1x but would like to compare it the ProV. I usually order some custom ProV's before the season but will have to wait. Maybe they will send us out some?

Dwayne does what most do that want to test both balls, unless they have already had the opportunity to test them. Why not just have promotional two packs available all courses that are Titleist accounts for a short period of time. Most loyalists are pretty loyal to their preference. I like the V and see not reason to change. Have no intentions on trying the X.

There you go Titleist....We have spoke. Bundle up a sleeve of each and get them to our mailboxes. I would be more than willing to drop $15 on a trial six pack!! #TT
  9. I agree that this would be an awesome!

This is a great idea and one I hope Titleist decides to do in the future.

As the Pro V1 and the Pro V1x evolved, it might not be a bad idea to test each.
I've been playing the ProV1x for a couple of test cycles now. Maybe I'll try the NEW ProV1 along side my last (still new) test ProV1x, to see what I'll order this year.

I like the idea as well, and it might be a good complement to the ball fitting day. Of course, the facility where I work also sells individual sleeves, so our members/guests can also buy one of each to compare. I'm kind of curious why there was a paradigm shift with respect to spin; I think golfers have become accustomed to the comparative characteristics of the Pro V1 and Pro V1-x. The new balls may have to be compared back-to-back to determine which performs best for each golfer so inclined.

Good idea but why not simply purchase 1 pack of 3balls of each and test it out this way.

I would love this idea with 2xPro V1 and 2xProV1x balls in a trial pack.
  14. Maybe sell sleeves of each with TT logos only to TT members to compare ball vs. ball.

Just buy a sleeve of each. There's already so much spent on marketing and promotion when they launch. Adding new packaging and advertising will just add to the ball cost and possibly increase price.
