Well, somebody ripped off my bag at my local golf course. Yeah I Know. But heres the worst. I go replace all my stuff.
910 - 3 & 5 wood
3 vokey wedges
new titleist bag
Can you imagine I paid list price for all this stuff? I couldn't even get a free titleist hat out of the deal
COMMON TITLEIST loosen up. Your just like Rolex
Hopefully someone from TT will send me a sleeve of balls to test or a free hat lol
NEVER LET YOUR BAG OUT OF SITE!!!!!
I am sorry to hear about what happened to your equipment, but was there an option to call your insurance company and file a claim for all of that? Depending on where you bought your Titleist equipment may be the reason for no free items. I wouldn't go on blasting Titleist by saying they are like another company, just because you had an unfortunate experience. Again, I am truly sorry for your loss, but look at the bright side, you got all new equipment and learned the lesson that we always fear learning from first-hand experience.
i would send you some balls, but lost them
Claim it through your insurance and get quotes from your local Titleist Rep.
When was the last time your grocery store gave you a free bag of groceries?
Sorry to hear that somebody swiped your equipment, that person needs to be hit with a stick in the shins for a month straight. My advice would be to get renters or homeowners insurance, so if this was to ever happen again, it would not cost an arm and leg to replace your stuff. I hope you can find out who did this and exact some sort of justice, or just see them get cuffed and hauled off to jail for a while.
We are not talking about groceries. But since you mentioned it, grocery stores have sales and coupons. All's im trying to say is Titleist is taking advantage of people. Every company in the world discounts golf merchandise except titleist.
Hi Mark,I'm really sorry to hear about your golf bag being stolen. It really is an unfortunate situation that you never want to happen to any golfer. I can certainly appreciate your frustration in the scenario and I'm sure you would rather be replacing your gear under different circumstances. As for your question around complimentary merchandise, as you can imagine we receive many requests throughout the course of a year. The cost of honoring all such requests would be prohibitive, and, because we do not want to discriminate by honoring some and not others, it is company policy to refrain from providing complimentary merchandise. We hope you understand our position in this matter and truly appreciate your continued support of Titleist. Please feel free to send me a personal message if you have any other questions or would like to discuss further. All the best,Mike
Leroy- You PROOVED MY PIONT. You said you would give somebody a few balls. Thats great!! Down here in South Florida they don't give nothing. The rep told me if they where any other brand of clubs they could do something. I didn't mind buying the clubs the first time cause it was buy a club here and there. But when you spend a large some of money and the dealer won't even give you a few sleeves of balls, thats Titleist.
A few sleeves of balls or a hat or a towel would have gave me more respect for titleist.
I went to Dicks, Edwin Watts, and Golfsmith. They all say the same thing. I have a coupon for 50.00 off a 200.00 purchase at Golfsmith. After I spent a few thoudsand dollars they told me they can't honor the 50.00 on Titleist stuff.
I am really sorry for your loss. If my clubs got stolen I would probably do two things. Cry then call the CIA to track down whoever did it. I am really sorry!
"The rep told me if they where any other brand of clubs they could do something"
Clearly not a club manufacturer rep, I think you meant a store salesman. And he lied. Just try to get any Ping products at a discounted price that is not authorized by Ping. They will yank the account of any merchant selling their products at the least little discount.
One of the reasons for this is to protect the merchants that provide you with additional services over those that provide none. For example you go to the local golf shop, try out all the different clubs, get the recommendations from the trained staff, then you go to joeblow.com to order your equipment at a discounted price. With these price restrictions in place you do yourself a disservice by going to joeblow.com because you will be paying the same price + you will not have any after sales service.
If the major companies allowed unrestricted pricing, then everyone would do as described, and soon the local golf shops would be out of business.
