Ok guys, to make a long story short...I need a new Hybrid. I have a 4 year old 18º that has a draw bias, and after having a few lessons and shortening up my swing, I have a nice baby draw (which is what I was going for). Now the draw bias hybrid is not the club for me.
So here is my question. What 910H degree should I get and with what shaft?
***Other things you should know:
My swing speed with the big stick is 116mph.
I need a filler between my 3-wood (265) and 3-iron (220). That nice 235-245 stick would be great. Irons are shafted with X100s and my previous hybrid is an 85g X-Stiff Mid/High Kick with a Low/Mid Launch. The ball flight is a little low for my liking as it comes in a little hot and won't hold (too much draw). My question is do I get the 19º with the Proforce V2 89 in an x-stiff OR do I go with the 17º Proforce V2 89 in a stiff to help with getting the ball up a little bit?
I know that I can adjust the club but just looking for an "off-the-cuff" of what you guys think.
Thanks a bunch,
Brandon
Another question:
Is it better to dial the 19º down to an 18º
or
dial a 17º up to an 18º
I think an 18º is the loft that I'm looking for but would like to get the flight a little higher than my old 18º.
I have a more upright swing and tend to hit a high baby fade with irons. 3-wood is a little bit flatter and tend to hit a baby draw (57.5 lie angle). I'm thinking that I would like to have the hybrid play more like the irons, with a baby fade. Maybe a 17º with an x-stiff adjusted up to a 18.50º would be the right stick.
Do the UST Proforce V2's play stiffer than normal stiff shafts? I have X100's in my irons and a stiff E370 in my 3 wood.
