Hi Mark,I've forwarded your post to our brand protection team so they can take a look. In the meantime, based on your description this certainly sounds like one of those scenarios where if a deal sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Here is a link to some more information on our ongoing efforts to protect our intellectual property along with some tips on how to spot counterfeits.http://www.titleist.com/customer-service/counterfeit-product-notice.aspx

Has anything been figured out about the validity of the products at shakegolf.com
Hi Christopher,Please feel free to contact our brand protection team at ip@scushnetgolf.com if you have any questions on this site. As noted above, if the deals seem too good to be true, there is a good chance that the product is not authentic. Thanks a lot.- Mike
Hi Mark and all,
I stupidly ordered a Titleist 910D2 driver for $149.99 and it was declared as counterfeit when it eventually arrived in the UK and ultimately destroyed by UK Customs.
I also had several email communications with Kristy at Shakegolf who insisted that the driver was an original but to no avail in the end. After many communications between Titleist, (who were incidently not too helpful or sypathetic), the Shakegolf website has disappeared and the Chinese/Hong Kongese still have not refunded my money. Surpise, surprise!!! I was particularly concerned that a company such as Titleist do not scrutinise these websites and advise their valued customers of the legitamate suppliers of their products??? The only comment received was that if it's cheap then be careful!!
Hi Kevin,
Sorry to hear of your experience. In terms of our activity in this area, we have been and continue to be extremely active and committed to our brand protection efforts.
We aggressively pursue all reported cases and we have been actively involved with industry-wide groups such as the U.S. Golf Manufacturers Anti-Counterfeiting Working Group (www.keepgolfreal.com) to help protect consumers. This group has worked closely with law enforcement and government agencies to identify and eliminate counterfeiting operations.
Recently, our combined efforts with this group helped shut down close to 200 websites. You can check out the news here:

Again, please be assured that we investigate all leads in this type of illegal activity and will take appropriate action against the sellers.
