  1. In the Standard settings, do they sit square or open

With a SureFit Tour setting of A1 (std) the drivers sit 0.5° Open.

  3. Thanks for the information - so If you go with a +.75* setting, that makes the driver closed correct?  Increase in loft closes the face angle.

Correct, increasing loft closes the face angle. it goes from .5 degrees open to .5 degrees closed at .75 increase, or to 1.5 degrees closed in 1.5 increase in loft.

Are these increases, and decreases in loft and face angle the same for the 910D2?

Is this true According to the Titleist adjustment chart, you can increase loft but keep the face open.

If you want to have a higher loft, but the standard face angle of .5 open, you will need to have the correct loft as standard.  When you increase the loft, you effectively close the face.

If I have a standard loft of 10.5, then adj. the loft to 11.25, can't I adj. the face angle to .75 flat to bring the club to 11.25 loft and .5* open standard face angle?

Hi Norris, If you move the loft up to 11.25° or .75° higher, the face angle effectively closes, so it will be .5 closed.  You may be referring to the lie angle which can be adjusted independently of the loft.  You can make the lie angle .75 flat and move the loft to 11.25° - that setting would be C4 for a RH.  The settings that will maintain the standard face angle will be the third row on your chart - standard loft.

Thanks Cathi; I was thinking that I could keep the standard face angle by adjusting the lie angle, unless the face angle & lie angle are two different things. That's where I get a little confused. But, if I'm reading your very much appreciated reply correctly, I can increase the loft .75* then decrease the lie angle by .75* flat and keep the standard .5* closed face angle. Am I correct about this?

HI Norris,  Yes, at C4, it is .75 more loft, .75 flatter lie angle and effectively .5 closed.
