I bought a Scotty select newport 2 friday. I was just looking at some pictures online and came across one that had been stripped of the black finish and all the paint fill. I love the look of the black, that's why i bought it but after seeing the one that was raw i would do it to mine in a heartbeat. Please tell me i can send it in to Scotty and have it stripped and left raw? Thats all i would want done. If its possible how much would it cost me? Thank You

    Eric,

This is something you can do.  If you click on the link below, it will take you to the Scotty Cameron Custom Shop.  Here you would setup a new "Restoration" service and request to have the finish removed.  The cost will be $145 and will include stripping your putter's finish, removing minor scratches, dents and dings, re-milling the face and returning the putter to its original, like-new condition with a restored finish (original or optional Pro Platinum, Black Oxide Mist or Oil Can Mist for $50 extra) and custom or original paintfill. Additionally, we will install a new shaft, shaft band and grip (you may choose to upgrade your grip if you like), and make loft, lie and length adjustments per your request (within reason).

Thanks Cameron. I'm familiar with the Scotty custom shop but on the form there is no options for raw finish and no paint fill. How would I order it like that? Do I just leave a note in the info box? Thanks

    Eric,

Yes, just put in the notes that you are looking to take the finish back to the stainless raw finish.  Also, let them know what color and where you would like the paint fill.

I'm confused! What are you talking about? I was asking Cameron a question.
